I also call purses "pocket books".   LOL

 

I also prefer a cross body or shoulder bag with longer handles but this one is nice.  I don't see it as a "granny" bag.

 

There are some really pretty coin purses with the kiss lock, too.

 

I do have a small change purse shaped like a stocking with the kiss lock-something like this but I also have  a folding wallet with a compartment for change.  This was something DDIL and I thought to be whimsical.
