Already was, and will be even more so after today's horrible economic news.

Only buying needs, not wants. Only go to grocery store, pharmacy, and gas station when necessary.
Not sure why anyone would be shopping in these uncertain times.

Spending a LOT more on groceries. I used to eat out a couple of times a week - now cooking at home. But obviously my restaurant bills have been zero - and no tips! So - that's a wash.
One advantage of larger supermarket bills - more money back. For senior citizens - we get a coupon worth 10% of our grocery bill to use against our next purchase. Walgreen's bonus points add up, and I earn points on my credit cards.
My clothing and Amazon purchases are about the same.
Just paid my July bills - my monthly expenses haven't changed - roughly the same as very month.

I'm doing my normal shopping, have not cut back on anything except travel which frees up a lot of the "budget." Also buying and/or ordering on line gives me something to look forward to and helps my mental health--LOL!!!

I did purchase more "loungewear". I bought french terry joggers & some relaxed tops for at It home basically. I don't wear them to the grocery store, joggers anyway, The tops are okay with my jeans or pants. We are not dining out or going anywhere special. Not really a lot of places to go! I try to do groceries once a week during senior hours. I've stopped bothering with jewelry, a little make up & that's it! It's sad because I believe this will just keep being our new normal until there's a vaccine.

Definitely spending less on clothing, shoes, and home items. I bought a few clothing items on sale from the Q & Kohl’s. Our grocery bill is about the same. We always bought cleaning products & plenty of food for cooking.
I prefer shopping in stores so that has cut down purchases for me. I’ve bought some personal care items, masks, and jigsaw puzzles from Amazon.
Our biggest expenses (which we would have done even if there was no COVID) are exterior home improvement projects. Our garage door has been replaced. Just accepted a bid to repair leaky corners on our gutters & replace damaged wood. Finally, the house will be painted.

I stopped buying anything other than essentials for a few months. I worked at home for two months and have been back in the office ever since so I am buying a few work clothes (dropped a size!). I don’t “stock up” much on anything for multiple reasons.
I’m not looking at holiday clothes or anything for dressy occasions. Those are unlikely to happen and, if they do, I won’t be attending. I’m not sure what will be going on in a month or two so I’m not purchasing fall work clothes at this time.

Still working, so I've gotten a few "office-appropriate" clothing items. Our church has (VERY carefully) opened back up, so I also wear those things to church. Bought some new jeans (which I needed anyway), and a couple of fall things. We'll be retired by this time next year, so unless something needs to actually be replaced I'm good for a long time!

Yes. HSN sent a $10 off coupon. There is a Colleen Lopez jacket in my cart, but then I thought, where would I wear it? No outdoor concerts, carnivals, no Big E this year.

Guess I'm in the minority here. Bought a lot of summer clothes/shoes. The sales have been excellent in the stores I frequent. I work, go shopping, go out to eat a lot so I have plenty of use for the stuff. Also have zoom meetings, gotta look good for those. Someday we will not be in a pandemic anymore. I have filled out my wardrobe with excellent stuff while prices have been rock bottom.
