They showed this on one of the morning news shows and it's absolutely adorable. About 25 dogs at a doggy day care at a big pool just for them. Take a minute and watch it, it's GREAT.

What do you think?

That's cute, none of my dogs were swimmers, they were all waders.

I think it wasn't long enough! I wanted to watch them play some more. LOL

Yes, some of them stayed in the shallow end. They were so excited, it was so cute!

Cute!
My dogs and I always look forward to the end of summer because the big pool at the county fairgrounds has their dash and splash day to close the pool for the season. Before it's drained, they let everyone brings their dogs to play in the pool! It's a blast to watch all the dogs play in the water. Some are jumpers, right off the side into the deep end, some are waders in the shallow end and some are watchers with the "heck no, I'm not going in there are you nuts?"

My dog goes to day camp with doggy swimming parties. He even gets a free blow dry afterward!
He's more of a wader too...

We've always had a cocker spaniel and have always had a pool. Most dogs love the water, the problem is many of their ears do not. I cannot begin to count how many ear infections we battled that were attributed to the pool. Be careful if your dog has covered ears. The water gets in and it's tough to get it out.

You can use a mixture of alcohol and white vinegar and put a couple of drops in each ear when they come out of the water. The alcohol help dry them and the white vinegar works to stop any bacteria from growing.

That sounds wonderful! I'd love to see it!
