Re: Pumpkin Spice Frosty

[ Edited ]

Thanks for the info OP. Love pumpkin spice & will try a frosty.

My dad never did anything healthy smoked for 80% of his life & died at 97. Everyone doesn't want to live forever  or deny themselves, while here, one of the great pleasures of life food.

Whether you eat healthy or enjoy food, the end result is the same - you end up dead. .

For what it's worth, I did not take your post as a lecture or telling me what to do.

I likely never would have ordered the thing anyway, but seeing the sugar content makes me want it even less.

On another note, Chobani makes a zero sugar yogurt in pumpkin spice flavor that is very good.  It only has 60 calories and very low carbs.

Thanks @Witchy Woman. I know it's not 100% perfect, but I like the Chobani Zero Sugar Yogurt.  I usually buy the multi pack at Costco, but that limits me on flavors,  A month or so ago, a local store had a deal on singles so I could try some different flavors. That's my kind of treat.

@JeanLouiseFinch  Let me explain it 🙂 (kudos for the added visual for those that didn't know).  I don't have a problem with you pointing out the actual chemical/calorie content in the frosty so yeah I hearted it.  Doesn't mean I "love" it but let's face it everyone here knew someone would post it.  It's helpful because usually someone wants to know the nutritional content of food mentioned in these forums.  So your post, while some felt was a bit of a "Debbie downer" did have good information.  Therefore i hearted it.

If you read my post I actually gave kudos to people who stick to their dietary choices.  My opinion which I explained is that no day on this earth is guaranteed, and I have no problem "coloring" outside my dietary choice once in a while. I respect all those (other than the ones that "preach") that are strong in their unwavering clean eating choices.  But I believe the occasional treat is not necessarily a bad thing.  And I believe simple joys are sometimes the best ones ☺️.

Wow, way to rain on OP's parade!  I'm one who generally avoids this kind of thing for precisely the reason you point out, but I wouldn't post it here.  Some folks are just not concerned about sugar, fat, etc. and that's their right.  And some might generally eat very healthy and then splurge on an occasional treat.

I agree~~~

I will be getting one tomorrow.

I love a frosty (and am perfectly capable on moderating my sugar intake), but I have an aversion to nutmeg. Pumpkin spice anything doesn’t appeal to me.

The vanilla frosty is my favorite because it tastes like homemade ice cream to me.

The chocolate isn't bad either come to think of it...

I will try the pumpkin spice and probably like it, but to me, it's hard to top the plain 'ole vanilla. Woman Happy

I love everthing pumpkin spice from food to candles to lipstick-lol! Hubby and I love the McDonald vanilla milkshake but at this point in our our lives it’s ok and fun! One year I had so much pumpkin spice this and that I couldn’t stand it the next year. That has past and will try frosty ps milkshake. To note: we go to gym 4 days week , eat healthy , take our meds, but boy it does taste good when you indulge!

Thank you to whoever/whomever posted the nutritional information.

Saves me, and maybe others, a lot of time.
