Re: Public Restrooms routines

@c_la_vee, it is a special talent and one of the very few ways in which I am actually dexterous.

LOL.  If I had to go through that protracted ritual, it would be too late!  Woman LOL

Re: Public Restrooms routines

I walk in use the rest room,wash my hands and use the paper I dried my hands with to open the door to leave, if possible.

I have digestive problems and have had to use dirty restrooms that I wish I didn’t have to.  My choices are limited in an emergency...have an accident ( which I have, many times) or use the dirty facilities.  I will cover the seat if it is dirty.

i hate when women straddle the toilet and do not sit down.  They leave the seat wet for the next person.

I saw a program on TV where they checked public restrooms for germs.  Most of the toilet seats were clean, the sinks and door knobs were full of germs.

Re: Public Restrooms routines

I remember years ago someone asked Dr Oz if you could catch anything from a toilet seat. He replied “No. it’s plastic”.

Cover the seat and touch as little as possible, wash hands on way out.

Re: Public Restrooms routines

I open the bathroom door with my bare hand, open the stall door with my bare hand, drop my drawers and sit down on an uncovered seat (yes, sit all the way, no squatting for me), take care of business, put myself back together, open the stall door with a bare hand, wash my hands, open the bathroom door with a freshly washed hand, and leave.

I don't clean the grocery cart handle off either.

@RoughDraft @suzyQ3 LOL!

I also heard about the handles being the dirtiest part but while I'm at it, I just clean and cover everything I can Smiley Happy

@c_la_vee. Do you flush paper towels down the toilet?  You say you discard it in the stall.  If you flush it, shame on you.

No time for all that.  When I have to go, I have to go.

@Carmie, I am highly insulted at your slam against the high-risers among us. I don't know about my fellow perchers, but I have never, ever left an errant drop. It's all in the positioning and heck, who knows, maybe in the size of one's derriere.
