A prominent plastic surgeon in North Carolina, named Raymond Cook, decided to drive his Mercedes after heavily drinking whisky and beer, and slammed his car into the car of a young ballerina, killing her. His blood count was more than 3 times the legal limit! After 3 days of deliberating, the jury has found him guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

A lot of people, including the young girl's family, are outraged at such a light sentence. They think that it should have been 2nd degree murder. The doctor is 44 years old. He sat stoic and quiet during the entire trial. The only time he showed any emotion at all was when they showed a film eulogy of the young, beautiful ballerina!

When will this sort of thing ever end? Such human tragedy. The guilty ones never seem to get any injuries from driving drunk and killing innocent victims!
