Re: Project Runway 9/4/14 --spoiler

You know what? Tonight I finally had enough--I'm done. Under the Gunn pretty much did me in, but I have stuck with this season and its silly wins, one day challenges which guarantee horrible results , and what not. But tonight when Nina said some garment looked like it was for a PR person and not "an important person" I had enough! 12 seasons and done!!! Big lightbulb moment and blessed relief!!!

I agree about the 1 day challenges.

I really disliked Amanda's creation but at least it did not have fringe.

Alexander was the fan favorite again???? He usually has a look on his face like he does not have a clue what is going on around him or what others are saying to him.

In my world Alexander and Char should have been the bottom 2. Char said her grandmother taught her to sew. Her construction and sewing skills are terrible.

If looks could kill, Sean buried Korina when she was named winner.

I'm not sure about Tim using his save for Char, but I love Tim so I hope he doesn't regret it.

I liked Sean's off the shoulder blue dress with the blue necklace to win - gorgeous!!!

I liked the winner's dress with the necklace, but I did not like the coat. It was dramatic and all, but I thought it looked really heavy and rather old, not young and modern. I also thought it fought with the necklace which was such a statement piece and looked great with that beautiful dress.

I liked the idea of Kini's a lot but realize there was a problem with construction and fabric. But I still thought it was a beautiful design.

And I'm really not sure how I feel about the jumpsuit thing. I thought it looked much better moving than it did standing still.

I agree, and Zac Posen said it would be on the worst dressed list but the others loved it?

The designers have to know going in that they will have little time to come up with an idea and construct it. Why haven't they pre-planned for it and done some test runs on what they can complete in a day, a unique gown, what fabrics are difficult to sew, drape?

Alexander stayed because his design was bad, poorly constructed, but was at least creative, Samantha's was poorly constructed and boring.

Didn't Tim say Samantha's gown was beautifully sewn and constructed.

Everything about Alexander's was a hot mess. He sewed the model into the dress and pins were visible.

Neither of the bottom 2 created a garment to showcase the jewelry, and that's what the challenge was about.

Go to the Project Runway site and choose Rate the Runway. Each design is shown and you can see the back, front, and zoom in on any area. The back of Samantha's gown is not good, it's poorly sewn and off center.

You are correct. Wonder why Tim complimented her skills.

The back of Char's dress gaps terribly and it looks like she serged the edges. The armpits appear too high and the sleeve(less) opening has a strange cut. She was given a pass as not to embarrass Tim.

Sandhya's dress was well constructed but it wasn't a red carpet garment.

I think Fade is almost always underscored. His dress dress deserved being in the top 3 more than Amanda's.

I really like Rate the Runway. It's interesting to see if others agree or disagree with me as to who should win and who should be eliminated.

I love Tim also, and was happy that he saved Char because I thought the team challenge really threw her off (I hate team challenges btw).

However, her garment was pretty bad on her jewels challenge so I hope he doesn't end up regretting the save.

I just don't see why the judges are so in love with Amanda.
