Even though his design was hideous I was sorry to see Blake go. I loved his last couple designs. Poor thing ~ it was obvious he was lost with this whole lingerie thing, lol!
I'm with you guys as far as the winner was concerned ~ didn't care for it either. And yep, those designs sure looked uncomfortable. And.....after seeing those ridiculously thin models I'm feeling really guilty about that box of Hostess Sno-Balls I bought earlier today! (Not guilty enough to get rid of them, but)......... :-)

I'll join you about the look and was surprised they chose it. Ashley's was my favorite, with Swapnil coming in second.
Asnley was my pick also, and would reach a larger market than the winner. But I guess that's Heidi's style, so she had the final say.
I'm surprised they got rid of "princess" because he was such a character.

Swapnil definately had the WOW factor but since this was for mass production he could not win. I think he's very talented overall and I've liked all of his runway looks. I think he'll be a finalist. Gee - he's come so close on every episode, yet not won! Poor guy.
I liked Ashley's look too. Merlene's winning look, not so much. But either could have been mass produced.
I got a good laugh from Heidi's commemt about the model's fabulous badonkadonk.
Glad that Blake is finally gone.
Overall, I did not find this episode very interesting.

While the construction needed help, I actually liked Merlene's bra, I would buy it and wear it under a shear blouse.
I don't like the challenges like this one that eliminate better designers.

They picked the wrong winner in my book. Princess really didn't have the skills. I think Ashley's design is more wearable.

Last night's episode was another hot mess. I thought the winning set was awful. The model was beyond flat-chested. No one larger than an AA could possibly wear that bra. (and what was that V thing below the band) Even the guest judge showed how poorly constructed the straps were.
I have to say I was surprised how much bum they showed on air. The poor girls, between designers fiddling with their crotches and bare cheeks, looked like they wanted to be anywhere but there.
What about Edmund's choice of colors on his original design? Yikes!
I must be the only here who will not miss Blake.

Ashley's set was beautiful and definitely more wearable, but it wasn't anything new and wasn't fashion-forward. It looked like things you can find in stores today. That's not bad - it's definitely the kind of thing I would buy. But if Heidi wants her line to be fashion-forward, she made the right choice.

The architectural approach made a lot of sense creating lingerie and the style was interesting but where was the bra cup?? Looked no bigger than a thimble. So Ashley's construction of a bra designed for comfort should have won considering it was also gorgeous. The idea of wearing a sheer top over the winning bra probably was the deciding factor in making it an original piece for Heidi's line.

This season is a miss for me. When the judges questioned Blake about not knowing anything about women's undergarments, I thought they were a bit hard on him. Most of them were bad. What female would want a seam going down the middle of her panties, yet there was Miss Pot Stirrer Laurie putting one in her design. This was just dreadful. What was with the shoes she chose?

I had been sure the one who won would be in the bottom two--I thought she and Blake tied for bad design! Ashley's was the only one I liked.
But I can't believe I just started watching this show with the end of last season; I'm loving it!
