I went to three grocery stores today to buy a bunch of celery. None of them had any except for the first store. At the first store, there were two other ladies also looking for celery. The produce manager said he had only one bunch left, He broke it into three sections and said we could each have a section for $2 each. No thanks! I went to the second and third stores and was told “ no celery due to the border situation”. They said no other produce was in short supply, only celery. Is this true in your area also? Am not about to pay $6 for celery; it was scrawny anyway!

@lovesrecess , there's no produce shortage where I live. We have plenty of all varieties of produce.

No....   Plenty of celery and every other type of produce where I live.  Except in the Stop & Shop stores because their workers are on strike.

Amazing there is no celeryvto be found here in a large metro area. Will has to go out and search...after the storms pass.

@lovesrecess

I read that celery is in short supply due to weather related issues and celery juicing popularity.

I agree on weather-related most likely, depending on where you live.
