Re: Problems with new management at my gym

I pre-pay my sessions with my trainer and if I don't cancel with 24 hours notice, I get charged anyway and can't make it up.

He is there to work and if people cancel, he doesn't get paid, so I can see why my gym has this rule.

If you don't show up, both the gym and the instructor are out money.

This must be a REALLY great gym if they are so busy that they have people waiting on "standby"!

Is there a later class you can sign up for? Maybe they will let you transfer the credits to a class that fits in better with your schedule.

Re: Problems with new management at my gym

I understand with a trainer because they are there for u only but this is a class that I have prepaid so why if I am not 15 minutes early do I have to give up my spot to someone else that dropped in.if they didn't charge me then that would be fairer but this way they get paid twice.you also have to be there early for the trainer or forfeit the session too,
