I have a male 7 month old Jack Russell that had surgery the 7th of this month to be neutered. He has had an incontinence problem sometimes since then. 6 times to be exact. I had had him for a little over 2 months before he had the surgery and had not had any problem at all. The vet is trying to tell me that male dogs sometimes have these problems and wants to put him on medicine for incontinence. I have told him he did not have an issue with this until after the surgery. Has anyone ever had this problem with their dog after nuetering?
My baby doesn't even realize he does this because he is asleep. He never does it when he is awake. I have had a wet bed, thank goodness for waterproof matress pads, but now can't have him on the bed to sleep for fear of him wetting. He has been laying in my lap asleep and got me wet. He sleeps in a pet bed and has wet in it overnight. I take him out more often now than I did before the surgery hoping to alleviate the problem as much as possible but it happened again today. emawma
