Pro boards a scam site?

[ Edited ]

Many weeks ago when I got shut out of QVC's forums, I joined other QVC refugees and signed up at Pro Boards but never used it or signed on.

Today, I went there and logged in. Immediately my McAfee internet security software posted a warning screen saying I was logged into a scam site.

Well, so much for visiting that site again!  Never.  Not worth trying.  I did without these forums for a long time and can live without that one.  Seems just about all "social media" sites are coming under fire for various reasons.

Anyone else experienced this?

As long as these boards are open, I will stay here.

I created an account for myself when I thought QVCs boards were going to be taken down.  I don't like the look and useability of ProBoards at all.  I never used the site - guess I should delete my accout if I can figure out how to delete it.

@KatieB   Agree.  I did the same thing and wondering about deleting, too.  I don't think the proboards are user friendly.

Nope, never happened to me.  It's the SAME people who you are posting with here &  want to remain in contact.  There's absolutely nothing nefarious going on!!  In fact, just the opposite.  I haven't posted there but once I figure things out, I will.

To each their own!  I usually don't post on topics like this but I hate to see the ladies that worked so hard being disparaged with incorrect information.  JMO

I'd rather be here TBH. I joined PB when this place shut down, posted a couple of times there and then I deactivated my membership...?...I thought. I want to delete my account on PB, too. If anyone here knows how please show me how to do that. TIA.
