My opinion of prints was altered forever when I was a child .....  I was out shopping with my mother and we happened to see an enormous woman wearing a very loud and gaudy print.   So much about it was just wrong.

 

Even then, I could see that woman made a terrible mistake.    My mother's comment clinched it .... "She isn't wearing that dress .... that dress is wearing HER ... "

 

Even if a print is very nice, sometimes it's best used as cover for a decorative pillow or side chair ... not as actual clothing.   JMO
