Printer Cartridges

My printer is asking for new ink cartridges. Has anyone bought the ones that are refills? What about getting them on Ebay?

i buy all my toner cartridges on ebay. i was really nervous at first but they work fantastically. i have a laser printer. the savings are astronomical.

I go through a TON and I do mean a TON of ink.............I buy it from Amazon and save a TON.................................raven

Are you replacing an HP laser printer? I usually buy mine at Staples when they have a sale. About $70.00.

I know that Costco does the refills, but I haven't tried them. A friend who did, said she didn't get such good results..kept getting "error" messages.

With my last printer, I did buy some generic cartridges, which didn't work well. They failed soon after I installed them.

With my present printer, I'm only using the manufacturer's brand, and all is well.

Thanks everyone. The refills are so much cheaper but if they are going to annoy me the savings won't be worth it.

If you have a Costco membership, they refill them for a good price.

I use an HP laser printer, I pay less then half of what you paid for one set for 12 sets..............I get 12, that's 12 magenta, 12 yellows, 12 blues and 12 blacks............never had a problem yet, and I've been buying from Amazon for over a year now..........I used to have to spend 80 bucks a week just on ink.......................................................raven

I don't have a Costco in my area just a Sams and I won't go there.

I only use black ink. My cartridge lasts me about 6 months.
