I love that both her sons, Kate and Diana's two grandchildren attended a ceremony for her rededicating her gravesite at Althorp. I'm glad William is letting his two children know about their deceased grandmother.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will attend a private service to re-dedicate the grave of Diana, Princess of Wales at Althorp House on Saturday 1 July,” Kensington Palace said in a simple statement earlier this week. “The service, which will fall on what would have been The Princess’s birthday, will be conducted by The Archbishop of Canterbury and attended by her family.”

She'll always be 36 yrs. old and beautiful, no wrinkles or other signs of aging.
Her death was truly a tragedy.

@Pearlee, yes it was a tragedy. I can't think of her without remembering how she embraced and tried to help the AIDS patients. When other peole were staying away, she was going to them. She tried to bring to light the plights of lots of people who were suffering.

Yes, and she was only 20 when she had William. Imagine being a grandmother to 2 toddlers at only 56.

I will always wish she had lived to see how wonderfully her sons turned out. She would have adored her grandchildren, as she did her own boys.

I don't understand.
What does it mean to dedicate a gravesite?
When was it dedicated before?
How does one re-dedicate a gravesite?
Why?
Are all gravesites dedicated? Should they be?

@esmerelda I think it was because the gravesite got a sprucing up. And probably also because the 20th anniv. of her death is coming up. Maybe similar to the idea of renewing marriage vows? If you are really curious, I suggest doing some online research. What I posted here is about all I can tell you.
