@wildcat fan I guess all these comments are payback for your favorite couple?

Good example to keep it small.

@Sooner All of my comments are calling like I see it. I don't have a favorite couple, but I do think Andrew is scum and his wife (ex-wife) and daughters are leeches.

Princess Beatrice looked beautiful! I'm sure it was a wonderful day for all. Every family has it's conflicts and drama, but most seem to be able to put things aside and come together for these special occasions.
Kudos to them for being able to keep it underwraps beforehand, which was probably done to protect everyone from crowds and unnecessary exposures.

Thats not really fair, she did wait a while to have her day. It seems everyone in the family got their elaborate wedding, she had to wait, its her first wedding, give her a break
@willomenia She's waited this long. What's another day or two?????
That young woman, as the daughter of the overprivileged Andrew, has had nothing but breaks her whole life. Her wealth and privilege will overcome any obstacle from the past and any headed her way in the future.
Again, if they really wanted to be a class act, they wouldn't have scheduled this on Camelia's birthday, and they would've made the announcement later as to not to overshadow the knighting ceremony.
As for her wearing the queen's gown and tiara, I wouldn't be surprised if there were special meetings behind the scenes to discuss what they could possibly do to flatter the queen just to stay in good favor.
Huh? Seriously? OMG ... That's hilarious! How do people come up with this stuff, anyway?

@Tinkrbl44 I really don't think it's a stretch. Andrew is an embarrassment and has been an embarrassment. They need to milk that cash cow while they can because rumor has it Charles is going to put a stop to it when he gets a chance.

@wildcat fan So does that mean he will take a couple of others who recently departed off the dole too?

@wildcat fan. I read the date was chosen around the Queen's schedule - I think it is in the people story about this, which makes sense to me since Ive read the same about the christenings of her great grandchildren.
I wonder if William & Kate were among the small number of guests and whether Harry and Meghan were happy not to have to travel there for it. Has anyone read whether W & K were there?@Pearlee It hasn't been said the Cambridges were there so I'd assume they weren't. I did read where Andrew walked her down the aisle and Sarah was there. Stories just sort of state repeatedly that it was small, only about 20 people, and I haven't even seen it noted that her sister was there. It was reported that given the current situation, everyone attending had to be in good health, given the queen would be there and was 'the guest of honor'. As for the Sussexes, unless there was a stipend included, doubt they wanted to attend. Also doubt they were missed.
@stevieb ..And if you don't mind I will add to that - I doubt they were even invited.

It never ceases to amaze me just how miserable some people can be.
Some obsessions are really unhealthy.

And it never ceases to amaze me how you and a few others repeatedly jump into threads to pass erroneous judgment on others who hold a differing opinion than you. Just because some people aren't starry eyed over the royal family doesn't make them "miserable." Just because some people aren't fans of Andrew and his family doesn't make them miserable.
Take that "obsession" comment and apply it to some of the same topics you're always posting about. Are you obsessed? No, and neither is anyone in this thread.
