Her dress is very lovely, and very 'appropriate'.
(That is: My kind of dress = appropriate for myself.)

Thats not really fair, she did wait a while to have her day. It seems everyone in the family got their elaborate wedding, she had to wait, its her first wedding, give her a break

Well, unlike someone else... at least they didn't show up at his ceremony and announce they'd just been married...

@willomenia She's waited this long. What's another day or two?????
That young woman, as the daughter of the overprivileged Andrew, has had nothing but breaks her whole life. Her wealth and privilege will overcome any obstacle from the past and any headed her way in the future.
Again, if they really wanted to be a class act, they wouldn't have scheduled this on Camelia's birthday, and they would've made the announcement later as to not to overshadow the knighting ceremony.
As for her wearing the queen's gown and tiara, I wouldn't be surprised if there were special meetings behind the scenes to discuss what they could possibly do to flatter the queen just to stay in good favor.

@wildcat fan Andrew has always been the Queen's favorite as are his daughters. They have no need to have meetings on how to flatter her. Do people just pull this stuff out of their ...?

Apples and oranges. They hardly "upstaged" him. One a knight-ing, a more public ceremony ... and a small, private wedding somewhere else in the area.

Seems like you're pulling something out of yours if you really think his daughters are the favorite of all the grandchildren.

They must have thought they would be seen as upstaging him or they wouldn't have made reference to him at all in their announcement.
As I previously stated, there's more going on than a knighting ceremony that day. Holding this on Camelia's birthday was in poor taste.

Huh? Seriously? OMG ... That's hilarious! How do people come up with this stuff, anyway?

Hmmm... Kind of harsh, I'd say, but we're all allowed our opinions. Personally, I think Bea has kept the lowest profile possible. Despite her lineage, she also works full time at an actual job and, more to the point, isn't responsible for her father's foibles... Not faulting her for having a lovely small wedding that had absolutely nothing to do with the knighting ceremony. As for Camilla, perhaps it was a payback for her choice not to attend Eugenie's wedding and perhaps it just turned out the way it did without ulterior motives being a factor.
