That's the last paragraph of the above post:
"It is understood the couple will not be releasing a wedding photo today because they do not want to overshadow the investiture of Captain Tom Moore, who is due to receive his knighthood from the Queen at Windsor Castle this afternoon."
How gracious of the couple to not want to overshadow his knighthood ceremony. Much respect for them!
Some would not be so kind about not 'upstaging' another at an event.......

That is so caring of them. I certainly can think of some others who would not mind upstaging someone's big day in that family.

I was going to suggest the same @KingstonsMom... @beckyb1012... Lovely of them and just think, Bea managed to score a direct hit for her sis with this part of the announcement... True class always shines through and the lack thereof always becomes evident... As for the wedding, good for them and what a lovely venue. Will look forward to seeing the wedding pictures when released...

Yep, it kind of reminds me of when William and Kate flew commercial over big bucks private jet. I hope photos come soon.

Very lovely. They sound very level-headed and grounded. I’m glad they didn’t wait. The marriage is what really matters. I think some couples get too focused on peripheral events that aren’t really important.

So glad that deserving Captain Tom Moore is getting his knighthood! If I'm remembering right, he is at least 100, and raised a huge sum for the treatment of pandemic patients, with his fundraising walks. Bravo!

Hurrah! Some happy, bubbly news! An intimate wedding was the perfect answer in the face of the obstacles/hurdles the young couple had before them.
I was thrilled to see Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were able to attend. Mellow...

If they really didn't want to upstage some guy's ceremony, seems like they wouldn't have announced they're married until later.
