Prince & Princess of Wales

[ Edited ]

As the daughter of a WWII veteran who was part of the Normandy invasion and the liberation of Paris, It is very meaningful to me the appreciation and the honoring given by the King & Queen as well as the Royal Family for their veterans.  Today was a Thanksgiving Service given at Westminister Abbey.  A two day honor and respect for all who served their country.

The Prince & Princess have so much dignity, graciousness and compassion which serves them well......now and in the future.

They are so gracious.  I hope I live long enough to see them as King and Queen.

Beautiful Couple.  They did not shirk their duty like the other one and his wife did.

The two of them are just so wonderful.  Her maternal grandfather was a fighter pilot in WWII.

Her other grandfather, Middleton was a co-pilot to Prince Philip in 1962.  Amazing the families came together very briefly when their parents were themselves babies.

The WW2 rememberance ceremonies remind me of my Dad.  He was in the British army and saw action in Italy and north Africa.  He had several medals that my brother and I used to play with as kids.  That generation made quite a sacrifice.

"Shirk their duty"?   Seriously?

Just because you're born into a family that has a family business does not mean you should be forced to work in that business.    That isn't "duty".  There's no difference between that and a lifelong prison sentence.

But it's wrong IMO to step away and then brazenly profit off the RF, you know, the RFthey keep trashing. I hope William strips them of titles.I say William because I know KC doesnt have the heart to.

"They keep trashing"?    What is the latest "trashing" you are referring to?

Why should Charles strip them of their titles?  They may not be your cup of tea, but they haven't done anything illegal or immoral.

Actually, if anyone's titles should be stripped, it should be Andrew ....  and Charles has done nothing there, either.   Unless they secretly changed the laws, titles a royal is born with aren't conditional.

The longer this goes on, the less I think of William.  The fact that he is unable to sit down and sort things out with his brother shows William just cannot handle conflict.  NOT a good candidate for king.

JMO, of course.
