Well then, if the prince isn't fit to drive because it's assumed he's not perfect physically than no one with a disability should be driving. That would include diabetics, those who suffer migraines, high blood pressure, a heart condition. Any of those could lead to an unsafe driving event.

It's less about any illnesses he may have ...... and more about the fact that he's NINETY SEVEN YEARS OLD .... and has deteriorated to the point that he's unable to attend public functions anymore.

Unable or is he just unwilling and, unable is spin? Those functions are boring.
Older drivers, except for those with dementia, know their limitations; some don't drive after dark, some avoid major highways. This accident could have happened to anyone.

‘Anyone’ doesn’t have a BEVY of chauffeured drivers
at their beck & call. Sounds like he’s just a stubborn old man
who thinks he is invincible...doesn’t matter if he has a fancy
title in front of his name...he has no business driving.

Oh good grief .......... NO, they don't always "know" their limitations.
Older drivers often assume they are still in top notch form, which is why it is such a serious problem for many families. You can't make a blanket statement that "all" of any group "knows" anything .... that's ridiculous.

There's no age limit on driving, so assuming he has a valid license, he has a legal right to drive. Driving or using a driver is his choice and his business.

I think that's odd too @Tinkrbl44. He drives but can't attend ceremonies or events.

He as always been a bit willful. Even if he shouldn't be driving, he will continue to do so. I don't know if the queen has the ability to make him stop.

It becomes the business of everyone else on the road, if he's not a driving safely..
