Re: Prince Charles to Walk Meghan Down the Aisle

The bar is pretty low if one cannot meet a nicer person than Prince Charles. His treatment of Princess Diana wasn't exactly dignified. I was not there and I have never met him so this is just my opinion.

I'm happy to hear that he is well-liked. I know he goes to hundreds of engagements and charity events a year.

A friend in need is a friend indeed.

Despised Prince Charles, For a very long time, Diana adored, related to her on many levels, her need to be loved, coming from a broken home.

Later learned, Charles also suffered in his family, in the end, serves no purpose for me to hold resentment, unhealthy- frankly not my place to judge.

No longer a victim of my own experience, rather invest in forgiveness.

Diana will be present tomorrow-Forever England's Rose.

I think it makes the most sense for Charles to walk her up the aisle.

I wouldn’t want to walk alone

I'm happy Charles has found happiness, and wish Diana could have lived long enough ,to be able to find a  lasting relationship with someone

Life is very short, and good luck to those, who can reinvent themselves , to become a better person

@JBKO  No actually the 'bar' is set pretty high in England when you live there.

@cherry

Tragically Diana, never allowed herself to be without a man..any relationship. Truly believe if she had, might very well be here today.

Best thing I ever did, was step back from relationships.

That's when, My healing process happened. Learning about myself.

Learning to realize that my perception of love was not healthy.

Freedom...life changing.

@Sweet_Serenity I made a comment, and I'm entitled to it. I have every intention on watching this royal wedding, and I'm happy for both Harry and Meghan.  I wish them a long happy life together like everybody else here.  I didn't want to ruin your obsession with this wedding by adding my comment.  I guess .I have morals and felt bad for .Princess Di's not so happy life with him.  Please don't don't drag out what .I said if you disagree with my comment.  Move on or this thread may just get proofed.  Enjoy the wedding tomorrow. .

Re: Prince Charles to Walk Meghan Down the Aisle

She had such a sad early life. Some people really never recover from the trauma of divorce..I think candle in the wind could have been written for her, instead of Marilyn. I am glad she had her sons, and Paul , her rock. I know he isn't popular, but she loved and trusted him completely @Sweet_Serenity

I like Prince Charles meself!

I think he has been reviled a lot.  I think this is a very gallant way to handle the situation.  This picture strikes me as though everyone has to explain a joke to Prince Charles.
