@Tinkrbl44  I understand what you are saying and certainly QEII may be an exception.  I think the agreement was that Andrew and Fergie would take them if necessary. They had an adjustment period it was said and missed the Queen.

Betty White a renowned animal lover said she didnt want dogs in later life as didn't want to die and have them have sent to live with others?

I have seen too many dogs that end up in shelters as you say whose owners can no longer care  for one reason or another. They do grieve their loss of owners.

I had a friend that rescued a cat at age 90. She passed away at 91.  The cat had a good life and  company for her  for a year. The cat had to go back to the shelter as no one in her family wanted it. It was so sad.

I heard of couple who were refused a  pure bred dog from a breeder due to their advanced age. Opinions vary.

So the queen thought she'd prefer the dogs die first?  

Pet owners pass away all the time, but they gave great love to their pets while they were alive, and they also cherished their time with their fur babies.  No one lives forever.  

I'm sure, wherever they end up, the dogs will be well taken care of.  Unlikely they'd end up in a dog pound or kennel.

The point was Andrew and Sarah went against her wishes. One can argue with the Queen whether getting puppies late in life is a great choice or not.

And I haven't seen much concern for the all children who are being brought into the country sex trafficked by the cartels.

There are many rumors, but I saw one about Fergies move.  They say there has been talk of her moving to Portugal to a commmunity her daughter Eugenie lives in with her husband.  Speculation of course. I think Cosmo magazine reported that online.
