@Porcelain, I agree with you but I doubt you'll convince @MaryLamb. The issue of consenting adults really doesn't have a place when talking about sex trafficking. Drugs are usually a favorite way to "convince" women to do what is expected of them.

And Andrew was 41 at the time and she was 17. That in itself is pretty disgusting. He came across in this interview as a liar and without a shred of remorse for his actions. Evidently he sees no need to be accountable.

@jannabelle1  My point, which you missed, is that if the male in the situation has no idea that the woman is a victim of sex trafficking, you cannot accuse him of being complicit with or endorsing sex trafficking.

Re: Prince Andrew is in hot water

@MaryLamb   Even women of legal age who are sex traffic victims cannot give their consent.  This is illegal.  Slavery is illegal..period.

I can't figure out why you are defending Andrew.  He is a monster and knew what he was doing.  All the men that went to Epstein's Island knew what was there and they went there for one purpose.

I don't know why this is just coming out now. I knew about it years ago and wondered how these rich men were getting away with this.  I guess the media protects some people until they have no choice but to print it.  Then they act like this is new and they are letting us know because it is important and they uncovered it.

@Carmie  Im not defending him at all. I barely know the circumstances. I'm just asking questions and gathering information. I feel like I keep telling people they're missing my point, but here I'm going to say it again. If the man doesn't know that the woman is being sex trafficked, and she is of legal age and consents to sex with him, then you cannot blame the man for being complicity with or endorsing sex trafficking.

Re: Prince Andrew is in hot water

Following centuries of bad prince behaviors, why would Andrew not feel entitled to play the Randy Andy role?  I would have liked to believe him except for the photograph and the multiple accusations, his lame memory and lack of proof of being elsewhere leaves him looking like a willing knowledgable participant.  He seems too smart but there is that danged entitlement, his princely right to be a bad boy. There's nothing left for him to do but deny which will end in nothing happening at all, time will leave him with his well earned Randy Andy reputation, he may be more careful but nothing will change for him in any major way.

The picture all over the news of Andrew and a GIRL should be enough.  She looks very young, very young indeed.  And he doesn’t recall?  Really?  Grown men of 40 and over should not be having casual sexual relationships with children, period.

Maybe Andrew should be punished by having his allowance taken away, as well as his royal digs.

The picture looked authentic. Some tv shows tonight were

analyzing it and said so as well.

Yet somehow he remembers where he was at the time and it couldn't be him?

What is the picture that people are talking about?
