I believe I am correct that QVC has changed management or something.?I'm sure I'm not the only one noticing they have become very stingy with free shipping and if they do have a rare free shipping day they raise most prices back up to full price before they do.So we really are not saving anything at all! And easy pay is a joke! Been a customer since CVN.They are losing their best customers.

I think QVC has had more free shipping days than previously as has HSN.  My guess is they want to get rid of inventory.

@shopgirl7621.  Actually, I think we've had more free shipping offers this year than any year past, including since new management took over.  I've never used free shipping when a price has recently changed due to a shipping offer.  That's a myth.  Prices do go up and down but I've never found shipping to be a factor.

Yes it seems that way to me.

Why is Easy Pay a joke?  I love it.

@shopgirl7621  -  Yes please explain why Easy Pay is a joke.  I use it all the time and have never paid a dime of interest on any Q purchase.

I also think the Q has been very generous with free shipping days compared to years ago.  There's no correlation with prices going up and free shipping.  As @Kachina624 stated, that is a myth.

QVC had been in bankruptcy Chp 11 which involved approx $6.6 billion of debt, finalized several months ago resulting in ~$5.4Billion (80%) written off reducing debt to $1.325 billion and all vendors claims paid in full over time.  That  also involved massive restructuring of the operation, some old leadership brought back to bring legacy experience to the transition and restructuring venture capitalists onboard to "right the ship".  More product is 3rd party drop shipped via major importers like Regency intl with some products via distributors and other sources - products providing income via mark ups as opposed to invested inventory. Shipping and pricing are not always under QVC's control.   Some pricing is increased to accommodate "Free Ship" events.  It appears the new operational model is in alignment with current online retail operations like Amazon, Walmart, etc. those transitions are also fueling the aggressive sales and enticements to buy in an effort to liquidate stale/new old inventory.  Hopes this helps.

QVC Group’s new equity ownership and new Board of Directors became effective on August 6th when the company officially and legally exited Chapter 11.  The "Emergence Date."

Thus far, the only new "management" appears to be the return of the former CEO, Mike George.  What's occurring at lower managerial levels, who knows.....

There have been numerous Free Shipping opportunities since then.  In fact, I think they have been prolific in their offerings.  I have detected no pullback; in fact they seem to be more frequent.

@SEGardener  First, Chapter 11 is reorganization, they aren't writing off debt. They sold shares in the company to investors which reduced their debt to $1.3 billion. That is the reason for new management. The investors expect to get their investments back. They plan to pay their creditors. Chapter 7 is liquidation where assets are liquidated and wrote off.

As far as shipping is concerned, vendors are in control of when a product is shipped. The shipping charges for each item is determined by QVC.

There have been more free shipping days and surprise pop up free shipping than I can ever remember.  And I've been a shopper for about 35 years.
