Never had occasion to use this meme before.
I must seize the moment before it escapes forever.....

Exactly what my lenses would look like had they not come up with that wonderful technology to thin them out!

I just picked up my new eyeglasses (pink with black - see above photo) and I totally love them. And also, the opticians (new ones I went to in my neighborhood) did a super fastastic job having the lab make my complicated prescription correclty and they look like totally normal lenses, not like that photo a few posts above mine which is how they would really like were it not for the thinning out technology. I am so happy with them -- and they are funky! They fit my face great, they are lightweight and I like the amount of space I have to see out of, including peripherally. I am super happy with my choice!
They look so good that my optician who had almost bought these frames when they came in a couple of weeks ago, was a bit jealous that she hadn't. She just loved them on me.
I'm happy - and I can see better!

I wear black-framed glasses all the time -- no contacts. I've always received compliments - men seem to really like them as well. Just sayin'.

I have ordered mine online for years. I get my eyes examined and then use the Rx
to order my progressive tinted glasses.
Always work perfectly and my eye Dr understands as when I first met her she charged me $799 to put lens in MY frames.

They wear them to turn on men - you know - librarian takes off her glasses - lets her hair down, etc.
