A person to be admired for his work with Guinea worm and Habitat for Humanity.  His words were respectful too.  No name calling or putdowns.

Saw a picture of him online at 95 after he had fallen, he had bruises on this face and around one eye. And there he was, working on a house for Habitat for Humanity.

 

I also saw a post from Delta airlines on Instagram -it was a video of President Carter on a Delta flight shaking hands with the passengers. He had one Secret Service agent by his side. Delta said he did that every single time he was on one of their flights.

 

He was the real deal, so was his wife.
