Prep For Colonoscopy

Hi,

I am going to have a colonoscopy soon. The last one was almost twelve years ago. I use to go every three years because of my family history. My Mother died of colon cancer and my Dad had it also. Also my blood aunt died of the disease. Iam so very very frightened. First of all, I always vomit very soon after the prep. They usually told me to show up early before the procedure for enemas so I am clear. Well, most doctors perform it in the office and no longer in the hospital. They had told me that they will not give me enemas because it is in the office.

Has anybody had a colonoscopy lately and what prep did you follow? I suffer from depression and anxiety for many years. Please give me suggestions. Thanks, Linda
