Another overcast day  but having a heat wave of 24!

Waited for Amazon driver yesterday  and garbage mam....both no showed up!

Went to Amazon's web site     found this notice:

due to weather may not get order until Thursday

(because of bad roads....probably delayed from/or near Chicago from all the snow .)

so..i told myself...

self- its not a big deal  and  you  have pleanty of time to get daughters cell phone case before Christmas I won't know until big day if i ordered right case for her cell phone or not?

She will love color  anyway

I'd rather not order online at all, but I don't have much available locally.  I am trying to limit my online ordering more now, and buying in general.  But I probably buy as much as I used to, it's just different things now.  Not as many 'fun' things as in previous years! 😄

I have just one gift to get this year and I have decided on a gift card, as much as I dislike them.  But I really don't have any gift ideas for this couple, so I'm opting for a card.

I think that your gift card is a great gift  as i usually get 2 or 3  given to me as Christmas gifts from a son  and 2 grandsons  and a friend.

As long as they are "not" for Cracker Barrel  if so i will use to buy gifts there  and not on a meal.

for the first time - temps are dropping to 20s overnight

so i put a plastic bag ovr my potted rosemary and hope it survives the winter

my plant died last year bc we had severe long spells of brrr

i put my small potted thyme between storm door and reg door 

afraid if i bring it completely indoors - it will go into shock and die

although i dont think thyme survives the winter temps here

still some green - not ocmpletely brown

i buy the plants from trader joe - about $3 a plant which is a great deal

was -3 here this morning

but warmed up to +28  and possible chance of drizzle rain   tonight

 maybe 2-3 in. of snow Sunday!

I felt like a was a "sloth' person today  but i did manage to go to basement to do a load of laundry  now everything thing folded  and put away!

Have you been out to go looking at Christmas decorations yet?

I saw the tree lighting in NY  on tv.

My Amazon delivery that was supposed to be delivered this past Monday...still hasn't been delivered yet...now says by Sat.06th...doesn't even show where package is...only was shipped and on its way!
