My thoughts on "Angies List " while checking out getting person to mow for me..(..its the one i have now!"

I didn't like the questions i was being asked to me!!!...and i finally lost it when i I was asked

"how tall was the grass that I needed mowed""?

My reply was...how was i to know.?..i wasn't going to get a ruler to measure it!

Told her i was done and I didn't need their services...in so many words...lol

After i called the one that my son& grandson recommended and was on Angies list..... when he came to talk to me...i told him i called them to see about getting him through them.

He got upset and told he he shouldn't have listed his services through them....that they was usless,etc...my thoughts also i told him!

So its better to get recomdations through family or friends.

@cowboy sam @geezerette : Me bad. Ordered box of Dunkin Munchkins variety cause cheaper than a dozen donuts , yummy.

Dh new cell phone just delivered and charging. Considering calling Tracfone later and hopefully mark this off my to do list.

I haven't worked on the tax papers since lunch and will do it tomorrow morning.

I was talking to DH about the tax papers getting difficult for me. DH finished his part of the tax documents last week but I was also dealing with other problems. He said that he would do it next year and I could then enter the info in my notebook using the outline that the taxman gave me. Deal. I will double check everything.

My daughter listened to my Friday story about my pains cake sis from Friday. today.. she got very, very upset.i had had to make a promise to her and i hope i'm strong enough to keep it.

Snow has ended and neighbor and her dh shoveled light snow outta my drive and sidewalk plus steps.

Made a new friend today on a animal website !

plus texted messaged 3 friends

one was a text conversation to painscake sis neighbor and we might have come up with a solution to keep my promise to my daughter and her to her son.

@geezerette @cowboy sam : I called Tracfone to set up DH new phone. She tried several times we were skipping a lot of set up things to get to the home page. Always got to the Google Page and could not skip.🙄 She asked where the phone was purchased: HSN. She told me to call HSN and explain the problem. She said they probably need to send me another phone.😯😯😯😯 I was on the phone for 1 hour. Why am I a magnet for trouble?!!!

i have used samsung phones from tracfone for a very long time

i buy a new one when it couldnt hold a charge

i use my phone rarely - for the internet (data)

i use my apple macbook for everything

you can set up your patient protal on it - use their app

so use your ipad for it - much easier to navagate bc the szie will be much larger to view

if the doctor has wifi in their office - the ipad would show the patient portal

but then he should have the info - he is the doctor

if you need to download ur pharmacy app to pu meds -do that

but if i was ordering form a pharmacy - i order through my laptop

and the info travels to the app on the phone when i do the pu

i dont even remeber google home page - when i first activate the phone

i use their transfer system to go from old phone to new phone

i started orange bell peppers bc i never knew they would be so good - so sweet

so different than the stores

a few germinated and are an inch tall

i also started japanese eggplant - they are much smaller - long and skinny

they need a L O N G hot growing season to harvest anything

so i am starting over and over to see if i can get a bunch of plants

they have not germinated yet

both peppers and eggplants need a long and hot growing season

hence - starting them a lot earier than i would tomatoes which i start in mid march

trying to do carrots - had zero success last year

they are cold hardy plants - will try to drop in seeds into ground later - maybe

there is snow - the ground is frozen - and drizzly today.....

maybe this afternoon - but if i dont try - i will miss my window

you both seem to be chugging along

i had my gum surgery followup - all is fine

although i did tell her - a little blood when i brushed with electric toothbrush last week

so i will continue to eat mainly on the other side - so.food wont get stuck

continue using water flosser on lowest setting and manually brush gently on gummy side

we have had slushy snow about every few days - much better than ice

Iwas checking out tracfones on Walmart this morning especially the Moto g 2025.(.but it's not a 5g "stylus".} people were very upset as they could only order it by having it shipped to them.

When they got it it was useless & couldn't use it...they would call tracfone for advice and be told "walmart" never scanned phone before it was sent out and they needed to take it to a walmart store to be scanned!

Then were told no. it couldn't be scanned.and to get a refund !

and then buy another one like it and in their store so it could be scanned.. Then,,,.they were told they needed to be on a pay monthly and not get free min,.etc.!

I will keep my looking to see if a new version like mine comes on sale befor July on HSN or the Q!!

i love my moto g stylis5g mine was released in 2021

I bought it in 2023 ...so maybe buy a 2023 moto stylisg5 version next???
