Glad you are ok. I understand the need for a break after all you have gone through, Good things to the home do need time and energy, and expense.
You are wise to go at your own pace. Decisions made too quickly usually don't turn out well.
Sorry for your toothie - actually gum problem. It will be over and then you will be glad. I think you will have a million dollar smile - bought and paid for with much $$ and pain. My mouth has been a major investment, too. Dental insurance is pretty sad, me thinks.
Say hello to your precious fur girl from dashing Winston. He had not been eating well, brought to vet, tests and tests.
We so worried about our baby. Fortunatelly, we have pet insurance. Got good news today - he is fine. Winston loves to sit on our kitchen table and look at the birds - we have 5 feeders on our deck. In the early am, I bring his breakfast foodie to him on the table cause he no want to leave table!
Like Preds folks, we love animals. They are such a joy, at least most of the time. Winston is mommy's baby and Daddy's boy. That Duke is quite the guy, too!
Everyome stay warm and dry, please! We had some snow, but is quite chilly. Dress like an Eskimo if you can. They know how to live with the cold.
Lubs to all Preds!

Yikes! And I thought my 17* was cold!
You stay inside and keep warm. Eat something hot.
Yes, those poor drivers and mail people.
And those poor people on the southern coast with blizzard warnings today! They aren't set up for that kind of weather.
Lubs ya! 🩷 Keep safe and warm! ❄️

My Jetti weighted poles were delivered a bit ago!!!
They were in a nice cloth drawstring bag !
No lights were with them and if i order them from company they want $16.00 plus shipping 🤐😡
However, i checkedout lights for to be put on handle bars on riding bikes and can buy 3 blue colored ones on EBAY for less then $10.. and no shipping cost!!! But will i really need them???or use them idk yet?
ok...i have done some exercises already using them like squats,etc...and decided they will be very useful for walking down and back up my sloping yard, " more secure" then using my walking cane !!!!
I am very pleased with them already in having them less than a hour after being delivered to me !
lubs ya!

At 3:04 a.m. phone call from local water works stating the office will be closed today and tomorrow and please use the emergency services phone number.🙄😯. Ok. Let my heart calm down and see if I can go back to sleep. DH is snoring. The central heat is constantly running.Stay warm and safe.

@Yahooey @cowboy sam @geezerette @PamfromCT : Our low was 16. Currently 18 with sun shine. Everything has turned to ice. One of the next door neighbors was walking very slow outside. I was afraid he would fall trying to walk up his driveway, but finally made it.
I wonder how long it will take for the ice to melt? Looks like maybe 2 inches. I changed my Walmart grocery delivery for tomorrow and indicated : only one change allowed.
Stay warm and safe.🤗❤

TO MY SOUTHERN FRIENDS
Greetings to my southern PREDS people from chilly New England. We did not send our weather to you,
honest! This is a part of our lives, and we are prepared for it. I would say so, something is a-changing!
You are smart to stay home. If you must go out, dress
with your warmest clothing, head covered, hands covered, and hopefully some thick socks with your footwear. Use a scarf to cover your lower face.
The worst danger is ice. Stay off of it. Actually, kitty litter is good to pur down on icy areas if you must walk on. Ice is very dangerous. Do not test your luck. Some folks may not take the warning, but be sorry
later.
I likely told you folks before, but I was born in Tampa during WWII. My Dad was stationed there. from there, we were transferred to Waycross Georgia til the end of the war. After the end of the war, my little family moved back to Connecticut, where all my parents' family lived and where they were brought up.
So you might say I was a baby of the south, then a girl of the north. I love America and all its people, no matter where they live. A disaster anywhere makes me sick, even in faraway lands, never mind here.
Love to you all!
Stay safe
