@PamfromCT

🤗

i turned down going with paincake yesterday...and as "she"was saying but you need to go!...i interrupted her by saying...i'm not up to going today "bye."..and hung up on her!

She was referring to a cardinal windchime i saw at Cracker barrel 2 weeks ago  but when i looked it again it was gone...so i asked  the manager about it ...and she called another CB store within a hours drive...and they had one  and would save it for her....she lives near that store  so she told me she would fetch it   and bring it back to our store for me.It would be locked up in managers room  until i came back to CB.

After i hung up on paincake...my neighbor called  and wanted me to walk to city hall to pay our water bills....so off i went,then stopped at bank ATM to get some money out.....uh  i might have groaned abit  on way backSmiley LOL

I really needed that long walk,,i would guess a mile round trip.

I'm glad you also enjoy seeing my "sam"  on tv  in those AAA commercialsSmiley Very Happy

@PamfromCT : You've welcome. I totally agree and understand. What's up with Winston today? He needs to be careful for Santa to leave a lot of treats and special toys.

I had appointment with my endocrinologist yesterday. No weight gain. She was surprised with the 10 pound loss and excited for me. I told her about my exercise area.She really wants me to drink high protein drinks and stressed very important. I told her that I have tried several and still looking for something that I like.

@cowboy sam @PamfromCT @geezerette @loveschocolate . Just finished Christmas Shopping. Last gift was church friend that eats with us on Christmas. He is 73 and works at local deli.He requested non skid work shoes he purchases from Walmart.  They were on sale and purchased two pairs.

I have been busy this morning gift wrapping.

I have a confession to make. I normally give SIL household necessities from Sam's Club and always put them on couch and cover with a Christmas table cloth. She asked DH if I could wrap them.😯🙄🙄.  Ok. Great that I saved a few Amazon delivery boxes. I wrapped real good..... double tape all over the boxes. Triple tape all over the gift wrapping.😀😀😀😀. Me so bad.

I can just see her trying to break/open tape  and not getting anywhere doing so!Smiley LOL

Then have to ask for sissors or ?? to cut tape  to get into gift boxesSmiley LOL

Good for you!Smiley LOL

PS...did she ask you to leave price tag on  or sales slips  to find out where it was bought  at or how much you paid for each "gift" item????🤔🙄

me is so bad  with wicked thoughts!

bonjour @SouthernBee @cowboy sam @PamfromCT @geezerette

returned home yesterday - today is relaxing and trying to purge my body of all the good fudz from the past week - annual physical monday

Notre Dame - boo hiss - cannot get in which i kinda knew already - saw it from the outside - lots of news media to cover the opening

visited Rodin and Orsay museums and  then it was all eating all the time -

i'm not even joking - it ran the gamment of caviar - champagne to - bone marrow - sweetbreads - all the pastries

i packed light - real light - under 20 lbs (including the suitcase)

so i had room.... room for a tart pan and perhaps 2 plates???

all grand plans went out the window when my peepers got a gander of below

the copper pan and black ceramic was packed in the suitcase

the 4 plates and 2 cups wedged and i mean wedged into my backpack

@cowboy sam : Well considering the items: Box of laundry pods, box of trash bags, .big container of fabric softener all heavy items , for someone with back problems. I was wearing my new lower back brace. Really considering not giving her the items next year. She is very noisy. I know she goes on line to  Sams Club and checks the prices. She once asked me: How much is in your savings account and I quickly replied: None of your business.

@Yahooey

It sounds like you had a great time.

Beautiful finds! 😍  I'm sure you can't wait to use them.

Oh my, what feasts you had!  I'm surprised you could get out and see the sights eating all that delicious food.  Too bad you couldn't get inside Notre Dame, but at least you can say you saw the outside.  And that's a good excuse to go back later so you can take an indoor tour.

Glad you're back safe and sound.  Good luck with that physical!

Welcome back from your fantastic trip!  sounds like you had a great time.  You can always see the inside of Notre Dame in the future, but I was hoping you would have been able to see it.

I am sure you will always have happy memories of your museum visits and so-French meals.  Was thinking of you all the while you were gone and so pleased you have all your memories and goodies!
