@geezerette @SouthernBee @cowboy sam @PamfromCT

hoped everyone enjoyed good fudz yesterday

locknlock in action - it is a large tart pan

i had to squeeze it in - of course w/o insert - would have been more room

but then how do u get the tart pan out of the deep carrier

this is a lemon tart - the cutouts are the same dough as the bottom crust

it is a very nice thick - heavy duty carrier - not wonky - great value under 17,00 and free shipping

Re: @Preds ❤️

[ Edited ]

@Yahooey : Beautiful and yummmy. I could eat  the whole lemon tart. I ❤ lemon.Ok - let me see if I can explain this to understand. How to remove items from pie carrier when not enough room to use the pie insert?   I keep a long roll of heavy duty aluminum foil= using the long side of the foil: fold foil over at least 3 times in about 4 inch wide strip ( enough to support any heavy tart, cake etc. ) . Place inside the pie carrier and enough foil hanging over the outside: to make side handles. Use handles to lift product out of the pie carrier. I will research for photo and correct name.

It's called : Aluminum Foil Sling For Baking Pans. Several YouTube Videos

@SouthernBee

you mean a sling - i do line cake pans with parchment to lift out easily

but using the pie carrier is supposed to be easy and using lot of foil is wasteful

i can shove it in a clean fedex box nd stack them since i usualy make more than 1 dessert

no worries - i still like the pie carrier

@Yahooey : Yes: I just edited my post. I save all my slings in a large zip lock bag and use several times. Just wipe off and dry.

Relieved that you like the pie carrier.

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply.  Blame it on my tummy!

You are so amazing with all you manage to do!  I give you so much credit, as I have lost my interest in cooking quite a while back.  I am sure everyone appreciates your feasts, made with love.

I am so very sorry about your niece's stroke.  May I ask how old she is?  Was she alone when it happened?  You know, our bodies are so complicated, and so much can go wrong.  I hope and pray for her and her recovery.

Please take a few days off for a break!

Your pies looked so yummy.  I think you are smart to get a pre-made crust.  Always excellent!  We finally made the trip to the Salvation Army store to donate my little table and chair set I got for Christmas about 75 years ago.  DH refinished it, and I know some little kiddies will love it.  The clothing Cleanout goes on and on.  I still am. Juimg books, my bad!

I discovered a Christian minister's books - I love them.  He has written so much.  I found several on EBay for a "song,"

shippimg free.

@cowboy sam : I know you enjoyed the family TG on Saturday. Will pray for your son and his sore throat.

I totally understand about your computer. We love our tech toys but can be totally frustrating to install and getting the latest updates. Have fun. Enjoy your day.❤🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏.

@PamfromCT : I totally understand thanks.

Niece is 37, she drove herself to the ER. She stated that she was dreading all the lifestyle changes but totally necessary.

If you will, please share the name of the Christian author.

Thanksgiving dinner : didn't like the dressing. Cooked onions in turkey broth and mixed into the dressing and cooked longer and didn't help. Ordered groceries to make dressing for Christmas. Spent all day yesterday in the kitchen . Cooked a hen, removed bones and shredded meat to add to dressing. Made 8x8 pan to eat with leftovers and 13x 9 pan in freezer for Christmas. We were late eating last night. DH tasted the dressing and stated : " what a difference. " I had to agree.

Hello @SouthernBee Cook and Organizing Expert

Max Lucado is a Christian minister, with a wife and family.  He has written so any books it would make your head spin, and is a New York Times bestselling author.  He books are informative, down-to-earth, and enjoyable.

I am now reading "Help Is Here - Fimding Fresh Strength and Purpose in the Power of the Holy Spirit."  There are many for sale on E-Bay, very good bargains, and often shippimg included.

I just bought a number of them for roughly $30, No shippimg.

@SouthernBee

37 is so young - that is frightening

and since she drove herself to the hopsital

hopefully there are no serious prolonged effects

pray that the changes will help and she can enjoy a long healthy life

easier said then done
