Hi All!

Just thought I would post that the current death toll of the storm is 150 so far, and some 1,000 military will be participating in the cleanup of the storm.

I guess I greatly overestimated many people on the main thread, and was surprised how nasty it became.  So many hearted the posters, yes.  But at least we have us here and I have a friend on the main thread I communicate with.

There was something over there that disturbed me greatly a few weeks ago.  Ome person who was targeted because she posted a few pictures (gasp! The horror of it all!), and she was so hurtfully treated.  The premise - one can be tracked down thru a picture.  So say it and let someone decide whether they want to post or not.  No, it was disgusting, and I tried standing up for her.  To prove a point, one person ("Mr Winkie"), a real loser, tracked down where she was when she posted her pics and announced it to all.  Yes, where she was when she posted some pics, including her mother.  What a prince!  I thought I would be sick.  And so many participated.

Hi Y'all. Long and hectic day. So many prayers and blessings  received today.

Widow friend took me to see my cardiologist. First seen by the nurse. I have loss 11 pounds and started crying when she told me. My blood pressure was up but in a lot of pain.

The cardiologist was excited about the weight loss. She stated with my family history of heart problems she was relieved and excited about my heart being good, good blood flow etc.

She asked about my feet and legs. She stated the lymphatic system can be really compromised with high doses of steriods. She suggested leg and foot compression but not covered by Medicare but can be purchased on Amazon. This was an early prime deal and I had an Amazon gift card.

Cardiologist told me to monitor my Bp and call if needed but not scheduling appointment. Friend and I had lunch at Applebee's . I  treated her to lunch. I treated my self to a 6 ounce steak with broccoli and side salad. It was delicious and can't remember the last time that I had steak.

The recliner repair guy arrived at two. He said not often for a recliner to break like it did. He ordered part that covered the whole back support of the recliner ( ordered within the USA  and the warranty company), part will be shipped to us. Repair guy lives one hour from us. We gave him bottled water. Tried to give him a tip but he refused.

My Sam's Club delivery order for today was suppose to include one big package of toilet paper but they have sold out of all toilet paper. I turned around and placed order with Walmart and it was delivered.🤗🤗❤❤🙏🙏

What wonderful news about your heart!  And your big weight loss!  I am sorry about your other issue,  it I can bet getting the right compression will greatly help.  And on sale, no less.

And getting action on your recliner repair.

And how nice of you to treat your friend to lunch.  Apple Ed's is a great place to eat, and always have a good meal there.

I bet your steak was yummy!  They have great food at fair prices there, and I wish there was one closer.

I just saw on Inside Edition there is a crazy rush on toilet paper.  But then somebody said it is all made here in The USA.

Well, we are stocked up for the long haul.  Shhh!  We will share in an emergency, though.

You are doing so well, and that makes me and I am sure everyone else so happy.

@PamfromCT : Thank you. We don't hoard stuff and share with others. Considering my tummy issues try to keep toilet paper stocked. Like so many others, being the first of the month , just trying to place our regular order.

@SouthernBee,

We do keep a regular stock of stuff, but wuz kidding about the hoarding!  It is just the two of us, and our kitty uses a litter box!  My sense of humor - but we likely have a month's supply.

That is good news about your weight loss Smiley Happy and heart has no problemsHeart

You have been really good  at doing so🤗

Your steak sounded so good..  its been a very long time since i have ate one.

I bought a big pkg of 18 mega rolls of TP Monday...just because i was getting low...and was in a walmart store  as last time i ordered it from Amazon.

My pet peeve today  is  that i put a new black  printinng ink  in my HP printer Sept 20th  and last night..it was empty😣!

I had just put in a order to Amazon.  for a pair of hearing aids..and wanted to print a copy of my order.!...

not sure if i want to reorder more black ink or not today.??..kinda expensive spending close to $18.00 on one and be Smiley Sadempty in less than a month!!

Maybe next month i will buy a new printer instead???

My BP is higher today..if its not one thing it's something else!
