@cowboy sam

Aw, you're hardly pitying yourself!♥️

Yes, your thyroid medication isn't working well and from what I understand that takes a while to find the correct dosage and I don't expect you will feel better immediately even after you find the right dose.  And everything takes more of a toll on us the older we get.  Unfortunately.

So add those two things up along with your son being there for the last several weeks and I imagine you've been busier than normal and maybe not sleeping as well either.  You see how your son tires now and it gets to you, understandably. Don't forget you've also been very worried about your daughter all this same time too.

So you've had a lot going on.  Even the enjoyable times can take a toll on us.  Now you have time to rest and take care of yourself.

Lubs ya, always!💕

u listen up and u listen good

u are one of the most upbeat people here

always seeing the positive with good humor

it is always hard to see what is in front of us

it is only after not seeing someone for a few months

- oh - you have gained or lost weight or to see a noticealbe difference

pancake and the neighbor friend should be alble to see

take the friend aside and ask discreetly

if u ask pancake - she would say

it is bc of the long visit taking a toll on you and all dem too many dogs

dont ask her

ur son and dil wouldnt know how you were previously and wouldnt be a good judge

and yes - there would be a difference in the year (if they saw you a year ago) but then we all age

it is hard settling back into a normal routine after so much excitment

you take the meds - knowing it will a while before any results are evident

but ask the neighbor (that u walk with) to keep an eye on you or pancake's neighbor

bc this way - they are more aware as opposed -

oh sam is just a little more tired today - or having an off day etc

lubs to you my friend 💜 ♥️ ❤️

@cowboy sam : You have been dealing with a lot in the last few months. No one likes getting older and dealing with a lot of health changes. You are still very brave and strong.

One thing that I know: Once the thyroid is acting wonky ..... It changes the whole body and is a very long and slow process to return to normal.Just do everything the doctor/np suggest. Don't be so hard on yourself. @geezerette @Yahooey  have given you good suggestions. Time to relax and pamper yourself with some of your favorite things.🤗🤗🤗❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏

@SouthernBee

Thank you🤗

I have been dealing with my thyroid  high/low problems for going on 2 years  and  not getting it regulated like it should be....sigh  plus  have been taking med  for it for close to 40 years...!

Son&d/i/l called me this morning to let me know how much they miss me also...and how hard it was for them to leave    me  and my property yesterday.

We all decided to rest today  and think about when we will see each other again...maybe in the spring.

hmm..think i saw a box of   pumpkin spiceiscotti  in my fridge freezer....ghanks for the reminder...i am going to treat myself right nowSmiley Very Happy
