Had a very busy day yesterday...i noticed water on my kitchen floor yesterday after son got doggies water....Smiley Surprised

My kitchen faucte had a sprayer in it...and it got crazy...leaking water in cabinet under sink ond on floor!!!

I went across my street to my neighbors house..at 9am....and knocked on the door...she was still in her pjs....i told her i needed her dh's help!

They both came over shortly....and checked it out after i had used all my bath towels to soak up water on the kitchen floor....verdict....i needed a new  kitchen faucet!

So son&i go to next big store 12 miles from us...i bought new faucet...plus  a few other things, then we went to Wlly to get a few things he and wife needed...but not the coffee creamer hes loves,,,,,so off to another groc. store...they had it but under stores brand...but its hard to find for him..so he got 4 bottles...then back home.

Neighbor come over and puts new faucet on...but hot water not coming out good.....so water shut off again..and he goes to local hardware for a replacement valve...uh  its not right size.....so he and his wive go out of town to big box store  that son and i bought new faucet at  and brings one back....and it was the perfect fit!Smiley Happy

Everything back to normal  so fat this morning...but is there ever a normal day for everyone?

ok son is here..talk later

Oh boy.☹️

How fortunate your son was there when the faucet broke.  And your neighbor is a wonderful man for doing all that for you.  I need a neighbor like that!  Think he would like to move? 🤨😄

No "normal" days around here.  🙂‍↔️

Lubs ya!💕

@tiny 2 : Oops..... Jalapeno. I don't like extra hot peppers. When I prepare the Jalapeno peppers for my supply of jelly: I remove all the seeds and white stuff. Most people just wash the peppers and cut the ends off. My stomach issues can't tolerate hot and spicy.

@SouthernBee,  What type of hot pepper are you using?

@Yahooey : Yes and 5 pounds of sugar is too much. I probably reduce the sugar amount more  whenever I make the pepper jelly.

I understand about making a smaller amount of the pepper jelly and with your cooking experience you will be able to adjust the recipe to your ingredients.

You sure will be busy..stay calm,  and relaxed if possible🤗🤗

How long will his DD be staying...i'm guessing just a few hours?

What food will be ordered for them...the same food for all?  or each order what they want to eat...?

Just asking for a friend...right @Yahooey Smiley LOLHeart

@cowboy sam : Thank you.

Chick-fil-A is expensive but 2 minutes from the house and DH is paying. But will let everyone select what they prefer. I will have a variety of can drinks, water, coffee and making tea. When they visited several years ago, tried to give grand kids food options and took too long and started arguments. Told last night that including us will be 9. That includes DH ex-wife. They are taking her with them to Louisiana and she will be placed in a nursing home. Haven't asked questions and prefer not to know.

They probably make it a short visit to get back on the road. I haven't been told estimated arrival. I have two tin canisters of Cheryl Cookies. I have plastic cups with lids and straws , plus magic marker to put everyone  name on them. I need to start making extra ice . We will have one more granddaughter age 14.🤗❤

Oh my.  What a houseful you are going to have.  I'm stressed just reading about it.😩

It should be interesting to say the least.  Do your best, but don't overdo.  They will only be in for a short time and then gone.  So try not to get stressed, even though I'm sure that will be hard.

We'll be thinking of you and wishing you the best.  And of course, waiting for all the details once they're gone and you're rested.😉

@geezerette : Thanks. Praying that the ex-wife  and grandson will not cause trouble. Last time grandson didn't get everything he wanted and slapped his mom. DH grabbed grandson and the ex-wife was on the phone calling police on my DH! I shouted and told them to be packed and out of our house in 10 minutes. Hasn't been invited back.

DD insisted on visit for her dad to meet her fiance. DH upset that they aren't getting married before she moves. I am praying they will forget about us after moving. I don't need to watch soap operas.❤
