Good Morning Y'all. Do y'all need a good laugh??? I had a major senior moment this morning. I hate this time change thing. Dh told me to change all clocks before going to bed. I reminded him that the change would be automatic for the cable box, tablets and cell phones. But I changed the landline phone, the microwave and stove .

Ok , woke up and looked at the cable box and time was 6:30 a.m. but on the tablet was 5:30 a.m. Me so confused and wondering why the cable box didn't change??? I checked my tablet setting and it was correct. Got up and stared at the cable box. Checked time on smart phone 5:30.

Gosh: Finally remember the cable box was replaced and no longer displays the time.!!??? What I was staring at was the big digital clock that I put on top of the entertainment center and forgot to change the time😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮.

Dh is really frustrated and mad but he was able to go back to sleep. Me: wide awake but I will probably fall asleep in church. I hope that I don't.

Good thing that we sit on the back pew.

Well darn: Time to get up.😀😀😀

@SouthernBee

You're not alone.

A few days after the time changes I always find at least one clock I haven't remembered to change.  Now I start slowly changing them a day or two ahead.  First the things I don't use much, like my watches and clocks that don't really matter in rooms I don't use.  Then, Saturday I start changing during the day so that by the time I go to bed I only have those clocks that change automatically displaying the correct time.

And I did goof up one myself this year.  I can never remember if my thermostat changes automatically or not.  So yesterday I changed it back one hour.  I got up this morning and found it was an hour too early--it had changed automatically!😖  But I swear last year it didn't!🤷‍♀️

@geezerette : Totally agree and understand. We went to church but I had mild tummy issues and bladder issues. I was ok during Sunday school but during the church service was getting sleepy and very uncomfortable.

Later ordered something for UTI and took something for the tummy. Relieved that I had made chicken noodle soup for lunch. I was good and consumed only one cup of soup and small piece of cornbread without extra butter. I was physically uncomfortable and not able to take a much needed nap.

Today , doing very little and still very sleepy.

How are you today?

I hope you're feeling better by now! 🩷

I've been taking it easy today myself since I wasn't feeling too good either.  Yesterday I felt like I was coming down with something, which I don't understand because I'm rarely around any other human beings to get their germs!😆

So I spent 12 hours in bed last night and woke up feeling only slightly better.  Not horrible, but not up to snuff.  Our weather has been on another roller coaster again so that doesn't help any.

But tomorrow is another day!🤞

@geezerette : Thank you. Hope you are feeling better. Our weather has been really cold in the morning but gets hot in the afternoon.

I have been on line researching Christmas gifts. Need to purchase something for DH and DH church friend that eats with us on Christmas.

Friday noticed that since the laundry closet was extended out about 10 inches in the family room , will make a difference of how the furniture can be rearranged for Christmas😮😮. Oh well,I will  use a smaller table for my 3 foot Christmas tree. Plus , I have all ready cut back on the gifts for each person.

I will be able to use a smaller table for the desserts: not making cookies, fudge or pies. I will be making one red velvet cake and will be divided into 2 of the 8x8 pans. One for church friend and one for us and no one will over indulge.

I can't stop yawning.

@geezerette : Found another clock that I forgot to change the time. The musical clock in the family room. That darn thing is suppose to play music on every hour from 8a.m. to 8 p.m. but it played at 2 a.m last week, so probably need to change the batteries. I hate it when trying to take a nap.

Funny!

I also found a clock yesterday that didn't change!  It has a setting for Daylight Saving Time, so it should have turned itself back, but it didn't.   It even says so on the box that I kept because there were no directions included. It was just a cheapo from Walmart and it's not big deal, but it confused me.  (It doesn't take much to confuse me nowadays!😂)

Then, my thermostat was the opposite.  I set it back manually because I was sure it wasn't automatic last year, but it is, so it ended up an hour too early!

Sheesh!  I can't keep up with all this! 😮‍💨

This morning woke up really cold and looked in my closet for my winter house shoes- only one pair, I  pulled everything out of the bottom of the closet and can't find them. I don't have a lot of shoes: the crocs in navy, black and chocolate. That's all. Hope the house shoes didn't get thrown out by mistake.

I will start wearing slipper socks to bed.😊😊

I hope both of you ladies are feeling better today. It stinks when you're under the weather.

I hope all our friends are feeling well and having a peaceful evening. 🌝

I can relate to the lost 👠 👠!

I lost a sweet pair of Ugg, Breast Cancer Awareness, limited edition, chestnut with pink shearling inside, adorned with Swarovski crystals! 😆

I wore them maybe 3 times, disappeared...I still believe my husband put them in the donation bag.

He'd never admit it. 😆

I sometimes wonder if they're still in this place, but I highly doubt it. I keep a neat place and closets. I think I would have found them by now. It's gotta be 7 years...but I still think about those. I never saw them again to repurchase! 😞

@KBEANS : That is so sad about your special shoes.😥😥😥

I normally wear slipper socks because it is so difficult to find shoes to fit my different size feet. Last year found the shoes on Amazon for a reasonable price, not a perfect fit but better than socks. My left foot is size 3 to 4 and right foot size 6 to 7. People have stated ,oh well : just purchase one from the kids shoe department and one from the adult shoe department- nope not that simple or easy. I have one more room to search.
