@Yahooey

@Mj12

I'm so envious of your homegrown tomatoes!

I have had a couple of tomato sandwiches lately but they're just store bought so they don't taste like I know yours do straight from the garden.

I got some from a friend's garden several weeks ago that were delicious, but they're dwindling now because it's gotten so hot.

Enjoy those sandwiches--have an extra one for me! 🥪😋

I'm sorry about your friend treating you that way.  She does sound like a bully.

@Yahooey is right--she doesn't respect you.  But I suspect she doesn't respect anyone that doesn't want to do things her way.

It's a shame you have to resort to such drastic measures and she still doesn't understand. 😡

Good Morning Friends,

Hope everyone has a beautiful day and try to stay cool 😎!

@SouthernBee

That woman is a frenemy. I agree with some of the other posters said that she is a bully. You don't need this aggravation.

Maybe you should hit the call block button on her! I'm serious.

I would rather hear the announcement that a Spam caller is calling me than a nuisance like that.

She is a control freak!

I have had "so called friends" like that and have gotten rid of them.

If they are not bringing anything positive into the "friendship " they gotta go.

There are enough negative forces working against us without having to have someone who claims they're your friend and then behave in another manner.

I have noticed people like this end up causing turmoil in my family. Maybe because I was spending too much time either pacifying them and taking up valuable family time, and time from real friends who appreciate me. It is exhausting.

Unfortunately, I have had in-laws who behaved like this. Notice I said have had 😝 Yup, I kicked them to the curb!

Good Luck in whatever you decide to do. 💐

Good morning Preds and friends! So, there was a water pipe leak in the basement that was noticed on Tuesday. Finally got someone to come out to the house yesterday. What an ordeal trying to figure out where the leak was coming from. We had to work from the basement, back up. Kitchen island..nope. Spare bedroom bathroom..nope. Upstairs bathroom..nope. Pulled heavy refrigerator out, cut through the drywall and bingo! The polybutylene pipe had a pin size leak in it. I'm learning more about plumbing, car repairs, bugs, snakes, etc....than I ever wanted too! 🤣

@Yahooey  your tomatoes are beautiful! I am sure your sauce will be delicious. 🍅

We have just been slicing/salting/eating the tomatoes. I also halved a few and grilled the other night. Wow they were so good. You see the weird shaped 3 smaller tomatoes in my picture? Those are San Marzano, so I will be using that to make sauce as soon as several more ripen. I can't make a sauce with 3 little tomatoes. It would be a spoonful 🤣

Our zucchini plants all died. 😭 Stupid ash boring bug killed them all, so we ripped them out. Waiting for eggplant to mature a bit now.

@loveschocolate  Oh no! What a mess for you. It's amazing how much damage a tiny leak can cause.

Glad you got to the root of the problem ! Leaks can be an expensive mess. I do not live in a house. I live in an apartment and I had the nutty, drunk, neighbor above me over flow his tub, washing machine and toilet, on 3 different occasions, all within an 18 month period, while I was in the woes of grief.

What an inconsiderate slob. 🍻

@Mj12  I would love those San Marzano tomatoes to use in a dish that I make called Spaghettii and Caccuza.  Caccuza is an abnormally, huge squash and we don't see it around these parts like we did when we were kids.
My grandmother used to grow it. Anyone familar with this?

I have to settle for regular squash and use that. I also love eggplant.

I would have a ball in your garden.

I can't even keep house plants alive...even the so called sturdy ones, so I guess I would have a barren garden. 😝
