ever since the APHID ALERT!!! about a week ago

i've been on a mission - at first - i wasnt concerned

did a squirt of Dawn + a gallon of water and spray them down

waited a day - still some of them are moving

did another spray from the leftover water

are they multiplying????? they are there and parying

i used less dawn bc of the detergents so i bought

a bottle of Dr Bonner's Castille soap $12.00 32 oz

delivery overnight a 4 oz bottle of essential oil of peppermint

used the full  strength recipe 2 TBS soap + 1 tsp of oil and hosed everyone down 

they were on tomatoes first  but have migrated to the string beans

so everyone got hosed down as soon as the peppermint oil was delivered

i did it last night and used almost a full gallon of the mix

this morning i examined upclose and 

LUBS IS FLICKING DEAD APHIDS OFF UR FRIENDS

is this a bumper sticker or what?

a t shirt you said - heck yes

will repeat again in a few days just in case

It's a full time job trying to keep our much needed supplies in the house.

Good morning y'all. Trying to stay cool and busy shopping on line for gifts.

Friend sent email reply this morning and they totally understand. She said daughter is requesting money gifts of Visa or Mastercard. I have purchased a recipe binder like the one I purchased for our daughter and will be including my recipes that this family enjoyed at Thanksgiving when I was able to entertain. DH said that he will purchase the gift card.

Friends daughter loves my sweet tea. 😯😀I will be including my recipe, the Pyrex 4 cup measuring cup that I use in the microwave , a supply of tea bags and sugar. We have an on going joke about my tea. Whenever she can't come with her mother to visit , she always request that a gallon of tea be sent back for her.😯😃

@Yahooey ....Wow...so sorry that you are having such a difficult time with the Aphids eating away at your vegetables...How frustrating to work so hard on a vegetable garden only to have everything being attacked by all kinds of insects, etc.

Sounds like the Castille Soap and Oil of Peppermint are getting it under control....fingers crossed!

LOL at your bumper sticker slogan but I'm not sure about you walking around the City with that tee shirt! 😂

dear preds and friends

Walked across the street this morning to get neighbors mail after our mail delivery lady left!

The week has gone by so fast as they will be back later todayfrom their vacation to another state.

The son...i only saw him once while i walked  and he passed me in his car and waved at me.   No problems at all as i predicted...he is a good kid..ok he is 22.

I thought about walking this morning but after getting my mail from mailbox...nope not going too   its not even noon and its 89 degrees !!!

My real estate tax bill was in todays mail...and i think same amout as last year.

I thought i had a prpblem with my c/a this week and had service man stop by.. Now.all is checked out as ok and new furnace filter  put in.

No plans 4 the day!Still no pop...lol
