there was so much rain yesteray and it didnt let up

light rain or heavy rain -

i think everything drowned outside so i check this morning

the azaela bus is laden down with the pelting rain - hoping it will perk up as it dissipates - i tried shaking some of the water off - biut a bloom dislodged

sigh....

i dink i see shoots from the calla lilly

the berry bushes - see the beginning of buds

i wish i can take the seedlings out for some good sun but still too cold

taking an overnight trip to boston with bff - havent seen her since our annual physical last nov

behave... and i'm looking at u @cowboy sam 

waving hello to everyone and my package with the eye drops was delivered

It's finally sunny here today!  After so much rain--it's officially the wettest first four months of any year, ever--we already have 70% of the rain we normally get all year.  More to return at the end of the week. 

Windy, cool, but sunny.  Allergies making me a bit uncomfortable, but it's nice to have the sun.  All that gloomy weather day after day was depressing.

@cowboy sam : On the kitchen aid website last night found a mixer for DD but needed to wait until this morning to call customer service to make sure delivery by UPS. So at 8 a.m on phone. Took forever to finally talk to someone and she was very friendly and helpful. She verified they ship both FEDEX & UPS. She wanted to know about my FEDEX problem. She said if the purchase was made with them that they would have immediately sent out another mixer with UPS. She needed to put me on hold while doing research. She verified that the mixer could be shipped directly from one of the plants that ships directly with UPS . I told her to place the order and she received confirmation shipping UPS. She said I would receive a confirmation email.  She said the mixer would be shipped in 5 to 7 days.The phone  wait and conversation ended at 9:15 a.m. She verified they are flooded with calls because the current sale before Mother's Day has $100 off selected mixers. I purchased the 5 year extended warranty for $74. I still haven't received  the confirmation  email but will check on that tomorrow morning. Hectic day. Friend came to clean house then the yard crew. I have been busy doing laundry and a few other things. Still need to finish recipes and notes for DD recipe binder and get it to UPS.🤗❤

@Yahooey : Very frustrating to put so much into plants , flowers and gardens and deal with too much or too little water and then waiting to see what's next. Praying that your weather will change and everything will be ok.

I have been good sorta...i went to best friends birthday dinner at her house...maybe i should have kept mouth closed

BBQ sandwiches,tator salad,pasta salad,chips,pistachio salad plus chocolate layer cake with choc. icing...oh..i drank water like a few others were doing.sooo no pop!

After 3 days of rain showers...none today! sunny and in 50's.

I was up at crack of dawn,watched a bit of tv.

Showered,dressed, washed a load of clothes  then put into dryer.

Paid a bill on the computer and wrote a check out to city for water&sewer bill

that in a few days i will walk uptown to city hall to pay in a few days!

Then, put recliner out on couch and took a 2 hour nap.

Woke back up made myself lunch..no pop just water drank.
