The sauce!  It's a big ordeal.

- brown italian sausage, remove from pot

- brown pork neckbones, remove

- brown meatballs, remove

- brown garlic cloves, throw out

- add in 1/4 cup tomato paste, stir around

- add to pot 2 large cans of san marzano tomatoes (crushed)

- add in 2 cups water (I add in 1 large can of water)

- add in salt & pepper, tear some fresh basil and add it

- simmer on low half-covered for at least 2 hours (stir frequently)

- add back in the sausage, meatballs, pork (pork will fall off the bone in the sauce)

- simmer for another hour on low

- MANGIA! Smiley LOL  Now you see why I almost never make it.  But I'm trying to be a good host.

@Yahooey @cowboy sam at the garden center I bought some replacement heirloom tomato plants, and also a sweet basil plant for the sauce.

@Yahooey

me needs your wisdom...

I was given some live fowers with greenery last year and i suck one sten pf greenery that had leaves in a vase last year. It loves sun light but has no flowers on it.

2 top leaves are heart shaped but don't know if florist cut the V into them as none of the others have it.

I have no idea what its name is..but it has been growing new leaves  and has gotten taller but has little roots in the water..i add tap water water when needed.

Here goes.... what" if" i put some nice dirt  from  my yard into a clay pot and put this greenry in it...do you think it will grow in dirt or will it die???

very strange that only a few of the leaves are heart shaped and i dont theink the florist would cut it

what did the flowers look like - scent? color

since u got some roots - perhaps it will grow in the soil
