Well y'all: This cubii  exercise thing is a challenge for me. Today tried using a folding chair was a challenge for me trying to get seated in the chair with no arm rest for support . Plus cubii  in front of the chair it's to difficult for me to bend over to move . With the folding chair - I was sitting up better and better foot placement  on the pedal . Really not peddling hard or fast and cubii  still moving forward on the floor. Tomorrow will try using the floor mat that I use with my exercise chair since it is thicker. I will try one of my dining room chairs but concerned  since it is is some what higher. I am determined to make this work. Does exercising my brain count as exercise? I was busy doing something instead of eating.😀

@SouthernBee ...LOL...That would sure solve the problem for you for sure and you could just get rid of that darn Cubii thingy...I would think that some traction would have been put on the bottom so that it could be used with any type of flooring...How about a mat with a non-skid backing?

@SouthernBee

Good luck with all that.

Speaking strictly for myself, I never could find a way to keep it from sliding, either on the bare floor or carpet even with a no skid mat underneath.

Then I couldn't find a place to put it where I could use it while doing something else.  I had planned to put it under the table where I use my iPad so I could peddle while I was on the internet. I couldn't reach the table in the spot it had to be placed and I hit my knees on the bottom of the table.

It took up too much space in my living room to use while watching TV and it's too heavy to easily move out of the way.  The only place I could put it was in another room and use it exclusively without doing anything else at the same time.  Well, that defeats my purpose in getting it because I already have exercise equipment in another room that I don't use on a regular basis.

Add to all that, I found that when I did use it, it hurt my hips.  Which also defeated the purpose I got it for since I'm trying to strengthen my hips so they don't hurt!

The end result is that it is now sitting in my storage room with a towel over it to keep the dust off.  I'll give it to the first person that wants it.  Although it worked well for exercise, I found it to be very awkward and just wouldn't work the way I had envisioned it would.

@cowboy sam

I doubt I'll even be awake to watch 2023 come in ...

I remember when I was a kid, my mother would come in our room and wake us up at midnight to get down on our knees and thank God for letting us see another year.   I thought then "geez, couldn't He wait until the morning for that?!"   Remember, I was just a little kid, Lord ... Amen.

If you can stay awake for that you deserve a medal.  Happy New Year to you all.
