@Mj12 : Thank you. Internet down yesterday from 11 a.m until after 7 p.m. Went with a friend to the commissary today. I was able to purchase four big beautiful bunches of collards and a ham. They had a good supply of turkeys for $2 per pound but very large like 25 plus pounds and no names like butterball.

Returned home and checked the freezer and ice building back up on the back interior wall. So called the home warrant for a service call.

How are you and your family doing ?

I have two of the 9x 13 pans for Thanksgiving and Christmas and one 8x 8 pan for New Years.

I was online Friday nite and Saturday doing research for Christmas gifts since DH insisted that I finish my Christmas wish list for him to give me. I wanted to try another food vacuum sealer. Several helpful people on the qvc forums made suggestions. I found a new one on EBay and I made an offer to the seller and the price was 115. My first offer was $80 but accepted the $104 and shipping was $14.95. That was delivered today and will be wrapped as a Christmas gift. 

Today went to the durable medical place to drop my old walker off for repair but he quickly fixed it and didn't charge anything. I showed him photos of my first lift recliner and asked if he could help me sell it . I told him my price and full value of chair. He took my phone number and address and stated he will call me. Praying that he can help.😊🤗

Wow, you've been busy.  You made a lot of dressing, even for New Year's.  Do you freeze it and then bake it when you're ready to eat it?

Too bad about your freezer?  I hope they can figure out what's going on with it.  

I hope you can sell your chair!!!!

Good Morning Y'all. One week and counting for Turkey day.

I have started " Plan B". Earliest day available for tech to look at freezer is Tuesday. From last experience after refrigerator turned off for them to check : took 24 hours for refrigerator to return to safe cooling temperature.

I had planned to put the frozen turkey in the refrigerator on Monday to start thawing and proceed with other preparations. 

I have decided to cook the Thanksgiving stuff with Christmas but haven't told DH that part yet.

We will go to DH favorite buffet for TG. We will go early hopefully before it gets crowded.

Today: I will clean the collards and put them in the big freezer. 

I will start getting ready for Christmas. I had planned to start decorating the Tuesday after TG.

If I had decided to buy another refrigerator : the small one at Home Depot the earliest delivery date = 1 week. Praying that the warranty people will decide refrigerator can't be repaired and given the money to put on something else😊
