Good Night Preds and Friends!

I was by my dad all day today.  My sister had a wedding to go to and asked my daughter to stay with my dad.  I have no idea why she didn't ask me.  I'm always telling her to let me know if she has something to do, and I'll stay with him.  Anyway, I went there today and just got home a little while ago.  He was fine.  She only texted me 1000 times asking how he was.  I'm surprised she didn't buy a baby monitor so she can keep track of us while she was gone.  LOL

Anyway, I don't mean to complain about her.  It's annoying when she asks me if I know how to make his toast.

Good Morning Everyone!

@Bri369 ...My twin sister was like that when my Mom was elderly...I really think it has something to do with some kind of insecurity that they have in that they need to prove that they are the only ones who really know how to care for them...My Mom was very independent and in good health and lived into her 90's...She had my twin and I when she was in her 40's...a big surprise as  you can imagine.

She lived in her own apartment until the last few years of her life  at which time she moved into an apartment right next to where my twin sister lived at the time...As you know, most of my family are in the suburbs of NY and I moved to CT when I got married...Whenever I would go down to spend a weekend with our Mom, my twin sister would always feel the need to pop in every now and then or phone to see how Mom was doing?...I looked at it as her in the role of needing to feel superior, as she always did have the tendency to feel competitive with me in many ways....kind of a "Twin thingy"...LOL

Anyhow, I hope that you made your Dad's toast the right way! 😂
