good luck putting it together
you will do fine -
@Yahooey : Really: Took me 40 minutes to put it together. Then one screw slipped and made a bad spot of course on top of one shelf instead on the bottom. Drill Sargent : DH still said it looked good. Took a break. Spent the last two and half hours trying to untangle the surge protectors before moving and placing everything on the shelf. I put the surge protectors on the second shelf. Just ordered the cube storage boxes to put on the other two shelves to help hide all the cords. They included only one back piece and I didn't put it on because I needed to determine the best shelf for the surge protectors. Thankfully nothing else scheduled for today. I love DH but I have more experience putting furniture together. I prefer to do stuff like this when he isn't home.

Bless your heart @SouthernBee ...I'm glad everything went well with your shelving project...I understand when you say that you prefer your husband not being around when doing some of the work around your house...My husband is very handy, but he tends to make things so much more difficult than they have to be at times....For example, just hanging a picture is turned into a total major project...lol... whereas I can have something hung perfectly in just a matter of minutes...Even when we are doing outside work and I'm planting flowers, he tends to come over and start supervising as though I have never planted flowers before!
So there are times when I just wait for him to leave for his job or whatever and then I forge ahead and get so much done in a much more calmer manner...lol...This morning, after he left for work, I went out and changed a couple of our smaller perennial plantings around that we just put in...Now, if I did it while he was at home, he would have debated the whole thing and I would still be working on it...lol...So this way, everything went smoothly and it looks great!
Okay, Whew...I'm done now!...Just that one little last statement in your post and I really let loose! 😂

Good job! I'm glad you got that finished up.
@Bri369 : Thank you. I already know one friend that will say it looks bad having them displayed. I only know that it was a problem for me and caused a lot of back pain. This is in the den where we live. If we have company we take them to the new family room and we don't have company very often.

great job 🐝
@Yahooey : Thank you. I was so tired and took a nap. Anyone else probably could have assembled it within 15 minutes. I am slow and can't see very well. What got me was on the side of each shelf you had to insert a dowel and then when you attached each side had to make sure the dowel was centered : extra pair of hands would have really helped. I am just thankful that I found something to fit my small space and reasonably priced.
