Thought I would check in to give some good news on my front. I don’t think I have posted since I contracted bronchitis in early June.

Some of you may remember that my DD’s FIL contracted COVID right before he was finally talked into getting his shot.
He was hospitalized and unfortunately damaged his lungs and is on oxygen 24/7.

The good news is that he found an excellent cardiologist who was ready to take him on. After he suffered a heart attack, it was tough. He had two stents put in last week and is doing fine. Our hope is that this will help him. No cure, but something positive to give him hope.

For me, it has been a journey, Sometimes a routine test indicates a potential problem you might not imagine. I was blessed to have a specialist take my hand and see me through. I am fine, have a new cardiologist, and feeling positive about the future.

Per usual, this is not a funny post. I am only funny in person and lack the gifts of humor you Lovelies have! It’s a gift I lack.

@Mj12 : When we purchased new windows and concerns about everything getting in the house- I purchased flying and insect spray. We sprayed the house and took a ride for a while. Really suprised when we returned and had mostly dead flies on the floors. I still had trouble sleeping that night because didn't want anything crawling around. DH stayed up and watched movies and had several items to catch any critter's- my hero.

Here goes what i did today:

1-While opening basement windows to let fresh air in this morning,,,i saw a box with blouses inside...so as i was looking at them...lo and behold was my new purple and plus a blackRhonda Shear new pull over bras that i have been hunting for!!

Next-

2- needed money out of bank to have cash on hand to pay mowing guy for Sept, so i took my deposit slips sent to me instead checks!...so walked uptown to band got my money,talked to bank manager about not getting new checks with new name on them...she checked to make sure i get sent my new checks free!

Also mentioned that i used to have a club 50 checking account and got free checks before new bank name change...well, manager told me that when bank changed we were all lumped into just a "Everyday account"..so she moved my acct to the "over 50+classic" +get free checks!

3- on the walk back home...for the 3d time this month a Monarch butterfly flew across in front on me! I know they are getting extinect but i'm taking it as a good sign for things to happen!

4..Curt was told by Nuro dr. that everything looked good and no need to see him again! But if he should ever start feeling different...like unsusal headaches,etc to get in touch with him!

I also would feel like every insect in the neighborhood would try to get in my house while windows replaced but i doubt it!🤗😁😃

Seeing a butterfly means you are on the right path. Take it as a good sign.

Great news about Curt. Maybe he's on the right path and they butterflies needed you to know

I agree with you..."on the right path" otherwise i wouldn't have seen the 3 butterfies

Also..

Curt has been told to stay out of direct sunlight to prevent skin cancer! He is listening to his doctors...and like you said..".staying on the right path"

@cowboy sam : Love your adventures. Always wonderful to finally find something that was missing.Bank changes are very frustrating but relieved you had great customer service. The butterflies sound like the often mentioned " pennies from heaven " - both are special and just consider them a blessing. Best thing all day- from your son ,Curt and his health news.
