Good Morning Y'all: I need to rant about something and I can say this cause I'm old. I really appreciate the convenience of delivery from Walmart and Sam's. WalMart was out of our favorite snacks. So I placed order with Sam's for this morning between 7and 9 a.m. Since nothing was perishable - to leave at front door. We have a video doorbell. So at 6:45 a.m. was watching when someone pulled up in our driveway. I would have thought he ( nice elderly gentleman) could have seen the video doorbell from where he was standing and then placed the box of items. He had a smartphone and took a picture of box in front of door. He stood there several minutes and yes: rang the doorbell 🤷‍♀️😳. I wasn't dressed and didn't want to go to the door. Man still looking at front door. I thought DH would have heard the doorbell and go to the door...nope.. The house was still dark and I decided to turn the living room lights on. Man finally went to his car but stayed in driveway several more minutes before leaving. This same thing recently happened with a WalMart order delivered by an elderly lady. I appreciate the concern but delivery instructions: please leave at front door. I understand that these people need to work and probably supplementing the retirement income. Am I wrong to be ranting?
It was still cool outside and cloudy but by 7 a.m. - I would be looking and waiting for the delivery. Ok. I will confess about emergency snack items: some could have melted. DH favorite : Nutty bars and peanut M& M's and for me : white cheddar popcorn. Ok..... another confession: I like to put some of the M&M's in my popcorn.As soon as the delivery person left: I went to door for said items.😁😁😁🤗🤗🤗♥️♥️♥️🥤🥤🥤🥤🥤🥤🥤☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️🥞🥞🥞🥞🥞🥓🥓🥓🥓
