Hi Y'all: Mercy- sad to be old fat . Getting a lot of exercise and more with the dishwasher. Took what seems like for ever to scoop the water out. The bottom was still wet and the center still had a lot of standing water that was hard to reach. I got my long cooking tongs and stuffed paper towels around the center to soak up the water. I have already done this three times. I have just put more paper towels down and taking a break. So far smells better and haven't notice any rust and hoping nothing under the bottom has rusted or other issues. Anyone else having so much "fun" like me?🤗♥️🙏

@loveschocolate : You are always in my thoughts and prayers for help and strength because I had two: very bad and irritating MILS but thankfully DH really supported me and set limits with his mother. ♥️🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏

Just popped in to say hello and wish you a wonderful summer.

I post now and again and still read, but mostly, I'm silent Cat Happy

It keeps me sane and mostly happy.  Summer in Maryland hasn't been bad.  Cool and windy today.

Wishing you and everyone on the thread peace and happiness.

@cowboy sam

I was born and raised in Illinois.  My birthplace was the now infamous East St. Louis.  I worked in St. Louis for many years.

Lived in a tiny railroad town on the Mississippi south of Cahokia...maybe 2,000 people and not many more now.

While I have a soft spot for "home" I was never sorry to land on the East Coast.  My mom was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, to Scicilan parents.  I always wanted to live "out East."

Got my wish!

We had blistering hot summers when I was a child, but we played outside all day until it got dark.

Happy memories in Illinois!
