@Yahooey

and all...

Speaking of critters....a tiny bat has taken up residence on my back patio.  It is covered and all brick, but I'm not sure why he would chose that spot to snooze.

When I took down my Christmas wreaths, there he was.  He looked up and hissed a bit...at least that's what I thought it was as I was running away Cat LOL

I thought surely he would depart, but, nope...still hanging there.  Moves up and down now and then, but I never see him doing it.

Of course, with the wreath gone, he is exposed, but does not seem to mind.  I checked and bats can/do hibernate, so I'm hoping when the warmer weather comes, he will take off.

In the meantime, I keep an eye on him while I'm on the patio grilling.

@Bri369

He's tiny...maybe 3 inches long, so, I'm not so brave...but I check several times a day hoping he has flown off.

As near as I can tell, he is hanging upside down.  His wings are all tucked in, but I can see what appears to be his little head and pointy ears at the bottom of the lump.

He is flush with the brick wall, and appears stuck there.

I got a few feet away to check, but that's as close as I'm going for now.

3 inches is not that big.  I still would be so scared of it.  My luck, it would fly right into my big mess of frizzy curls.  LOL

@PamfromCT

No names considered as he is, hopefully, very temporary.

We have tiny bats flying around in the summer, and I assume he is one of those.

I harbor no ill will for him, but he's not welcome to make my patio his home.
