You were smart to just let the puzzle thing go, but I'd have wanted to strangle the man
I thought my husband had an edge, but, we both have our strengths and weaknesses. He is good with architectural elements, and, since I do many pictures with houses, he can work those areas.
But, there have been a few times he was stumped and I've figured it out.
Believe me, I would NEVER have imagined I could do a puzzle because...I am the most impatient person on earth. Really, I have a serious problem with it ![]()
However, I just work a bit, then get up when I become frustrated. On these cold days, it gives me something else to do besides sew (and clean). And, I have found that it is a good challenge for me despite the fact I drive myself crazy sometimes.
I cannot do crosswords, or even read much anymore because I just get tired. Puzzling seems to fill in some space in my brain that lets me focus on the moment.
I consider it a solitary task, however. I do NOT want anyone puzzling along side me...get your own!

My Vitamin D levels are low. When my doctor first tested me, it was a 7. They want the levels to be in the 30s. I'm still not in the 30s yet, but getting closer little by little. I take 2000 mg a day of Vitamin D.
Just poking in here - Please Check with your MD, I’m pretty sure it is D-3 you want.
This from my MD who is honestly one of the smartest people I know & actually studied nutrition, which many don’t.
‘Scuse me for butting in. ♥️
