My best friends called me this morning and off i went to resturant..i had a short stack of pancakes and dr pepper!

Wally had some empty shelves in places but i managed to get what i needed-water,pop tarts,frozen breakfast meals,etc.

I bought a small bag of frozen brussel sprouts, plys a baf of beets,etc frozed..called root vegatables?

When i came home from shopping..my pkg from "Amazon" was by the door.

Put batteries in bp base and took bp..was 113/80 just after putting groc. up.

How ever my pkg from HSN with my bottle o fturmeric 400mg wasn't delivered yet!

Little Kiku and I woke up about 3 this morning and neither of us was tired enough to go back to sleep, so we (ahem, I) decided to make something to eat. I had a couple of sunnyside-up eggs, toast, and a gorgeous red pear along with some white tea, and Kiku had the tiny breakfast she always has.
She does get teeny tastes of my breakfast, too. She is a dog, after all.

I thought I'd see what was new on Netflix but then sleep did finally take us over, and now here we are again feeling refreshed after our morning walk.

Good afternoon Preds and Preds very special friends. It is very cloudy, windy and 60 degrees. My day hasn't gone as planned. For over a month issues with my hair staying tangled up. Was in the shower over an hour last night with a bottle of conditioner and detangler and didn't mean to but pulled out about a three inch ball of hair. Plus my neck, shoulders, arms, and hands really hurting. Then this morning hair tangled back up. Was able to get hair appointment this afternoon. My hair is now above my shoulders. She cut my hair in a bob but had to do a blunt cut on the right side because I had really messed it up. I should have took a photo of all my hair on the floor. When DH came to take me home: he just stared at me and didn't say anything. I am still cold and can't get comfortable. I am going to put my pjs on and make a pot of coffee. Not doing anything else today.❤️🤗☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

@SouthernBee, I bet your new hairdo looks very nice. Mine is certainly above my shoulders, all one length, except for bangs. The back is turned under, and the sides along my face are very loosely turned under. Used to wear my hair very short, in layers, but wanted something different. I think you will find your new length easier to manage.

@PamfromCT : Thank you. Your hair sounds cute. DH just told me that he likes my hair but earlier shocked at how short. The stylist had to flat iron to get it straight to cut. The back and one side is slightly turned under. I am thinking about next time just wash and slightly dry then put a little gel to see if it will bring out my natural curl. Kinda like a just shake and go very low maintenance style.... Hope that I can do this. Stylist said she should have took a before and after photo 😳😀. I have been laying in my recliner and the back isn't in a big ball of tangles. Finally some relief.

nothing worse than seeing a mess of hair on the floor after detangling or just falling out

hair was medium and now fine or extra fine

i swear - my hair is everywhere - in the shower drain on the floor when i vacuum

the pontail holder is capturing less hair - yikes

@Yahooey : Totally agree and understand. Sleeping last night was wonderful- hair not rubbing my neck or matted up in three or four big balls. Just shook my head and one easy brush stoke and hair ready. I need to start getting hair cuts more often. The salon is like five minutes from my house and the stylist was wonderful. She said the salon schedule of regular weekly appointments has not returned to pre COVID times= She said that normally her Friday and Saturday were packed with almost no time to eat. She said for Saturday no appointments scheduled so far. They are accepting more walk ins. I gave her a $20 tip. It is difficult to find a good stylist that are affordable.Not my normal tip but need to help local businesses stay open and especially a good one that is so convenient and helpful.
